"Because I'm a badass"
"That's not true"
"I know."
Absolute love for every minute of this project.
Lou/Eursulon's inner thoughts about honor and the world at the end is unbelievable. Making me tear up again even though its the 4th time listening to it...
Kind of a perfect title with a really clever double meaning.
Steel's title is "Sword of the Citadel" and the entire first hour is her "coming down" hard on the group and that's like "oh, so the title is figurative" and that's cool.
Then you get to the end and it becomes very literal...
it is a crime this doesn't have a million views. it will. it is a sleeper.
Such an amazing episode. I have no idea how each keeps topping the last but somehow it manages.
Great episode. Steel was nicer than I imagined.
Steel was nicer than I thought but I feel like I don’t trust her. Idk, I could be totally wrong but something about her just didn’t sit right with me.
@@leamayesmith For me it was a little of both. I believe she was beginning to mistrust them, but once she had them all talking to her, she was able to show kindness. However, she is a wizard of the Citadel, with that world view, fighting a great battle. I trusted her to mean well, while making sure she did the best thing for the Empire and the Citadel.
Leaving my comment of support for this delightful piece of art. I hear comments help it get shared to more people.
I adore Steel. Amazing character.
I literally cried
still so incredible even on second listen
But Brennan!!!❤😂
I haven't felt this much excitement for a d&d podcast since Teamfourstar At The Table
Edit: Fox is absolutely the best hands down, no i will not be taking questions
No !!!no no!! no thats not fair!! I have to wait TWO WHOLE WEEKS for the conclusion of that killer cliffhanger!! I don't have the money to subscribe to the patron!!
God I miss TFS at the Table, especially when the initial story went off the rails at such an interesting and crucial part
@@chriso5507 While I understood why Ben wanted to leave, I loved the hard pivot for the story and the characters, but I miss Eloy, something fierce
I am loving this podcast, amazing story telling with great narrative, heart warming character, thank you Brennan and team for bringing this story alive.
every suvi/steel conversation is so triggering
which honestly is just a testament to their roleplaying/acting😅
It's a whole ass mother/rebellious daughter conversation
this is how you make level 1 characters feel epic, this is amazing
So good!
Anytime one of Brennan's characters says "I understand" my bowels shift. ionlikeit.
Hot prediction: Steel is not among those Ame can trust.
Same. start the adventure saying there are people you can't trust, but then throughout keep having this character emphasize you must trust and rely on her.
Steel is the one who sent Suvi when Grandma Ren was dying, she's met Grandma Ren often at the citadel even though Grandma Ren does not seem to have mentioned it...
Beautiful
Baby Ursulon ❤
I'm upset that there aren't more people who listen to this
I think 47,800 members in patreon is good amount of people, but they deserve even more ❤
Idk y’all… I know she was nicer than we thought she would be… but I don’t trust Steel. Something just seems off about her.
Having watched basically everything Brennan has made, I think it would be way too easy to make Steel an antagonist. If anything, I am surprised he hasn't killed her off yet lol.
I am so scared that Steel, who does seem like a good person even within the Citadel and Empire, is going to die. She's too good and holds too much power
We are still lv 1
