'Ada' is a 1982 model S&S, built in Perth, W.A. by Prestige Yachts (known as the Superstar 39). She has accommodation for 8 but is easily managed by just two so is a suitable vessel for short handed racing or ocean cruising.

For details history, City Island Nautical Museum. Tom Nye contact. Museum reopens spring. S&S had office in building on City Island Ave. (Currently Ray’s Cafe) between Centre St. & Winters Street. Stevens once spoke to students at P.S.175 and commented about new technologies in sail design and boatbuilding. “All This and Sailing Too”.
