@ukusanz: We were fighting before that, The Suffragette Movement was the late Victorian times and in the UK it wasn't until 1929 that we got the vote, 1919 in the US. Women have been fighting all sorts for all sorts of legislation and recognition for us in every decade. I worry for every future girl that is born as she may end up in a "handmaids tale" situation.
@@jane1975 i am aware of some history, i was more going on my memories from when i grew up. In fact my country ( New Zealand) was the first to give women the vote. I remember teen mothers in NZ having their newborn babies taken and adopted out, and women not allowed into workingmens clubs or public bars.

I hear your point about women that do not have a uterus. But by definition a woman does have one, now that is not me saying those that are biologically female are not seen as women in society, but by definition of the fact that they should have one you can investigate to find the reason( birth defect, illness, surgery, disease etc) I will quote Matt Walsh here when I say this.
A human being has two legs, two arms, a heart and a brain, if someone is born with one leg or none, one arm or none, we don't put them in a new category, we understand and accept that something has gone wrong in their life and use medicine and technology to help them live as normal a life as those born with all limbs.
A lot of this ideology just needs a coherent conversation where true facts that can be proven non anecdotally are listened to and adhered by.

The whole thing of being a lesbian or gay or straight is biological sex, not gender identity. I'm a straight woman, if a hot biological man was in front of me I'd still fancy him even if they said they were identifying as a she. And if a really hot woman was in front of me but identifying as a man, I still wouldn't be attracted to them. If someone is passing as the other sex, so therefore looks like them and therefore you are attracted to them, that's of course different - but then that's not gender identity, it's someone looking like the sex you are attracted to, so therefore you may be attracted to them.
