Excited for mine to come in. However, its pronounced 'tuba-rose'. If ever you come to Hawaii and you can pick out a lei, or get a lei for a special someone, get the pikake (pronounced pee-kah-keh - known elsewhere as Arabian Jasmine), if you can't get it, then get the tubarose. Both smell amazing!
I love the opening, the mid with the tuberose is not great, but at least when it gets to the base notes the tuberose dissipates. The base notes finally shine. Its hard to get used to and yes the original is exactly the same. I cant stand heavy florals in frags. I paid $22 on Amazon.
@scottm2398 it smells just like the og to me . I really enjoy this scent profile. I smelled the og again at Macy's this past weekend and it's the same! The lady that was helping me said she doesn't care for that one out of all the one millions, but it's a lot of people that feel that way about this scent profile.
