  • This video is a deviation from our normal style of documentary production, and is a short extract from our evening riding along with our friends at the Sydney Bus Museum who kindly hosted us along that weekend. There will be a forthcoming video and full documentary we're currently in production of that will explore and showcase the existence and activities of this organisation.
"Deckers In The Night" is an annual event run by the Sydney Bus Museum, which run their fleet of vintage and historical double decker buses through the Streets of Sydney, Australia, at night and to coincide with the annual Sydney Vivid Festival. It is a spectacular event which sees the vehicles in a much more evocative setting of the night streets of Sydney and its landmarks, which many of these vehicles would have seen in their former working lives.
The bus featured is a beautifully restored 1937 Leyland Titan TD4, which was built and operated in Sydney and operating in Government Service right until 1961, and is currently the oldest roadworthy vehicle operated by the museum. More information on the Sydney Bus Museum can be found below and are current at the time of this video's release.

0:41 I thought busses ran on diesel or petrol. Odd that these ones run on volunteers. 😏🤣
