Dude, did you, do you surf HB around 22nd street? Did you have a green longboard you charged on in the 1990s? . Did you know a 2003 movie called the Big Empty was based around the Royal Hawaiian and Baker? It’s pretty funny. Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite is in it and works at the Royal Hawaiian. Jon Favreau is the main character. Check it out if you haven’t already . Congrats on the shrunken-head. We love the Golden Tiki. My girlfriend and I were trippin on the Breaking Bad shrunken heads Walter and Jesse a month ago. Are you going for the opening of the new tiki spot Glitter Gulch Downtown Vegas? Bamboo Ben said it might be open October 5 or so

Hopefully I’ll get back out there soon to check out Glitter Gulch Tiki, we were hoping to catch it on this trip but timing didn’t work out. Gonna look up the Big Empty now!

Dude, I was super impressed how many waves you caught, single-minded. Pissed me off haha. I would have remembered you even had I’ve not seen your RUclips posts(despite me back then 100% short board, I dug your green longboard. It was a super rad design) You ripped, man. First time I saw you in a tiki post, I’m like is that, that dude?? Back then, didn’t you also have long hair? I don’t get out in the water much, didn’t help I nearly lost a leg in a traffic accident in 1998. I never recovered 100%. But, thanks man
@@ELMENDORFX after I got married and moved further inland I slowed way down in the water. I picked up a snowboard instead and slowed way down on that since then too. My knees are shot!
@@polynesianpop Sucks about the knees. Yeah I snowboard too. I have no problems snowboarding, just surfing. Losing that bit of edge surfing was losing it all, for me. Heartbreaking, bro. At least I can bend my elbow for a flaming Mai Tia at the Golden Tiki
