Thank You!!!.....just replaced my dust collector.....and getting ready to connect to my miter saw.....this was a great build....thank you....I have an old Unisaw with no riving knife.....works well except for a few vicious kick backs....trying to retrofit it but really nothing available....I notice you dont use one and you have no problem with sheet goods,,,,any tips....cut sheet goods down with panel saw prior to using the table saw....(getting reay to work with my 14 yr old grandson and don't want him to get thrown material back at him....that would probably be the end of his woodworking)...
This saw can cut boards that are 15 inches in width. I think the easiest and safest way to cut down larger sheet goods to more manageable sizes would be a track saw. I personally don’t have one yet, but it is on my wish list. Maybe Santa clause will be good to me this holiday season😄
Cracking build mate and channel, I'm differently going to be using the piano hinge idea for my dust hood. I'm currently in the middle of my own miter station build. Cheers Karl
@@ArtisanMade yes mate, its just taking a while as I'm building in between work and other jobs oh and buying materials to get it finished, I'm not to far off really but need a couple of full days to get completed.
What depth did it take...and how deep did the cabinets to the left come out. I think my dewalt would be 40" deep and that puts the fence 24" from wall...makes the bench on left 30" deep min...then it gets tricky reaching wall above
I have a similar box i built for my miter saw; will be making doors like yours. Love the great idea of using dry erase board for cutting measurements. I used a larger dust port for the bottom of my cabinet from Rockler woodworking #26412. I like it because it tapers down to my 4" dust hose
The only thing I noticed was that with your hinge placement on the inside of the miter doors and cabinet, you can’t open the doors far enough to do any miter cuts on boards longer than the miter saw opening. Am I missing something?
I don't know if you can find these exact ones on amazon right now, but I'm sure you can find the same size made by another company. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F9K4FK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm definitely stealing the dry erase idea. Never would have thought of that
I have been fighting dust collection on my miter saw forever. This could be the answer, Thanks and great video.
Thank you! It definitely made a noticeable difference in my shop. Good luck!!!
Very nice work.
Really impressive work. The price of wood is preventing me from doing this right now but this is as nice a unit I have seen on youTube.
Thank You! Wood prices are crazy right now!

@@ArtisanMade i AGREE...THANK YOU!
Awesome build! Excited to see what’s next.
Thank You! Corona virus is keeping me home. Hopefully I can crank out projects a little faster

Thank You! Are you making a video for that miter saw station?

You do good work and film it well. Look forward to seeing what you come up with next. Take care.
Thank you!!
Genius!!
Nice Job! What are you using as dust collector to connect to your box?
Thank you! Using the 2hp grizzly gG0548zp. Best bang for you buck in my opinion.
Great video. What hinge did you use?
I think it was a cheap Amazon one

Having a set up like this is such a game changer isn't it?
@@ArtisanMade It is, i'm building the door set up now

Which tongue and groove bits did you use?

@@ArtisanMade thanks! Your workbench is looking pretty awesome, it seems perfect for what I'm looking for.
Que bueno eres👏🏽
Gracias Amico!!!
You need a fence on your router table - much safer than your free style method
Great video, but no riving knife or splitter on your table saw, that’s dangerous.
Thanks. These old saws never had them. I think my saw is about 30 years old.
Such impressive craft. But I still don't like your music. It drives me crazy. 🤦♀️
Much better than listening to the motors on high speed !! 😉
@@jbh.6257 Not really. IMHO
