God stormblood boss theme is so damn good, and the chaotic fight fits it
Progging 3rd boss currently and my god the iai aoes are making my brain explode. So far it seems that you have to remember two things: that every safe spot becomes his rear and he changes position accordingly, and that the telegraphs showing the 3 safe spots are always boss relative.
With the slash where he marks players with a prey marker and charges to your position, does the boss basically assume the way you are positioned therefore you have to position your character in a way that would make safe spots for everybody? I also assume that in the final mechanic with soldiers you need to have people of opposite 2nd slash directions go together, otherwise if you both have the same 2nd slash direction you'll kill each other.
Out of the 3 I'm loving the Mako the Restless boss fight. The mechanics are fun and tough. His model is based on Zenos's in Stormblood. Which that fight was also cool, and yes The attack names are cool to.
I don’t know if I’d be able to complete his, but I am enjoying Variant a lot, solo and in a group. I kind of wish regular dungeons were at the difficulty of Variant.

Rewards still meh?
For the Variant Dungeon, there’s a lot of decent glamours, a hairstyle, and a few minions and umbrella. I’d say they are all a lot better to grind for than the other one.
As far as the criterion, the only notable reward to farm is the mount and a profile kit.

@@asdsad17 I’ve done a million hunts so I think I’m set with materia currency. 😂
@@EmiTerasu_Damn man, they could’ve dropped gear and weapons that are 635 ilvl for normal; and for savage it could’ve been 650 ilvl w/ glow effects
