That Display of Force is fairly accurate and makes it clear, once and for all, that a Table or even a moderate Wall wont stop a Hailstorm of Bullets, not to mention in all the movies, when ppl try to hide behind metal sheets aka Cars, which are nothin more than thin layers of cheap newspapers for incomin bullets, especially of that caliber and power.

Mounted mini-guns have such tremendous recoil that they're extremely hard to turn while in use, even with the swivel, and I imagine that untrained criminals would have a harder time turning those guns than actual trained military men. With the constant rate of fire, I think it's plausible that he could outrun the guns.

Most satisfying moment in this movie is after seeing this massacre of dozens of innocent people. Mama sends her "lieutenant" with a group of thugs to check if Dredd and Anderson are dead. Dredd casually kills the group and drags the lieutenant kicking and screaming out of the smoke and throws him off the balcony.
This scene, synced with the peak of Toxic Avenger - Make This right is fucking insane. Basically sync 2:11 of the song with the beginning of this and enjoy.
I actually love that moment from Dredd. He's a nigh unstoppable badass, but even Dredd has limits. For all his skill and composure, he's still a man under it all and coming around a corner to realize he's face to face with three miniguns primed and ready to fire is enough to shake anyone, even him.
moc Gage Yes, I know tracer rounds are every 5 shots but the sound of the machine guns is too slow - you can practically hear every shot being fired. A real gatling sounds completely different.
Adrian Mantsch They do that with Gatling weapons in movies because of the trope 'Reality is Unrealistic' if they used the sound a Motor Driven Gatling weapon made when firing in real life. A LOT of people would think it was completely fake because 'Guns don't sound like that'. People are weird like that. Granted I think the Buzzsaw like sound Miniguns make in real life is freaking awesome.
I didn't see them actually skateboarding. Presumably those kids all got locked outside in that skate park when Mama locked down the building earlier in the movie.
I wish you could do this in a video game. Shooting concrete and have it chip away like that and you can make holes you can go through. 7 days to die can sort of do this and Black on the PS2 also tried.

this is the only instance I know of when a movie scene is actually brought down a notch because real life gatlings have a MUCH higher firing rate.
More bullets were being shot. The visible bullets are tracer rounds which illuminate. They fired after every 3-5 shots.
