Shooter’s $18 “Big Porker” Fried Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge!!

- American professional eater Randy Santel versus Shooter's "Big Porker" Fried Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge, hosted by Shooter's Bar & Grill inside Don Carter Lanes (Bowling Alley) in Rockford, Illinois!! After attempting Clubhouse Pizza's undefeated 30-Inch "Heavyweight" Team Pizza Challenge in Holgate, Ohio with my friend @NathanKleinEats, I headed home to my house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (sold in May 2024). From there, I headed to Rockford, Illinois so I could attempt the giant "Big Porker" Fried Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge hosted by Shooter's Bar & Grill inside Don Carter Lanes (Bowling Alley). A few people had previously won out of many valiant attempts, and I was trying to join them on the Wall of Fame. There is a 30 minute time limit to finish everything, and the challenge only costs $17.99 if you fail, which is a great deal for so much food!! There is a huge 20 ounce piece of pork tenderloin that gets fried and topped with white country sausage gravy, fresh red onions, pickles, and more, all on a sandwich bun that is way smaller than the diameter of the massive fried pork tenderloin. The challenge includes lots of crinkle-cut fries, and the "Different Not Broken" Dreamsicle Cream Ale by Church Street Brewing Company was just optional and not required. I was trying to win my $18 sandwich meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a groovy trophy, a spot on Shooter's Wall of Fame, and a gift certificate for 6 people to bowl at Don Carter Lanes for 1.5 to two hours, which includes a free pizza ($90 value). BIG thanks to everyone with Shooter's Bar & Grill and Don Carter Lanes for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Monday evening to watch and meet me!! A challenge in a bowling alley? It’s credit to Randy’s professionalism that he was able to keep focused over the noise of the balls and pins. And able to talk over it. But that may be more credit to his natural volume than his years of experience 😅.

I had bariatric sleeve surgery so my stomach is about the size of my palm maybe smaller I’m lucky to get in 3 bites without getting fully anymore. I watch you and Katina eat and I’m IMPRESSED lol

I'm from Indiana... no state does breaded pork tenderloin better than Indiana! Pickles and mustard are my favorite toppings! What is that sauce covering the whole of the T- loin? In Indiana, the toppings only cover the edge of the bun, leaving all that crispy goodness to munch on coz it's that good!

Of all the (1000's) food challenges I have watched. This is the 2nd one I'd attempt. 1st being a Chicken fried Chicken challenge. That looked Amazing. Hope it tasted and good as I imagine it did.
Wow, only $17.99 for that huge meal. Most restaurants these days, most of the menus are over that price. A lot of appetizers are around that price. It was $11.99 for 12 mozzarella sticks that my daughter and i shared the last time i ate out. Great win btw. You dominated that challenge.
Most of these challenges should just be called the fries challenges because it's mostly fries on the plates most of the time!

As a Midwesterner, I have never thought about pairing with sausage gravy. That gravy tends to be a breakfast thing, but there are no rules when to eat breakfast, or how. This is something I need to try.

You should try the canteen challenge in ottumwa iowa, at the canteen in the alley under the parking garage. It has a rich history including being used as inpiration for sceen locations from a sitcom tv show but i wont spoil too much about it.
