I am interested in working with Cambly while I'm traveling abroad. I want to work with adults. I think it would be easier teaching adults, especially when finding things to talk about when doing conversational English. Teaching children you would have to use props to keep their attention and keep them interested in learning. I hope the hiring process is good.

So I'm curious to know, since one can work on their on schedule, what would happen if you go a longer amount of time without tutoring? Do you have to do a few sessions within a given time or risk being "fired?"
Great question! The longest I've ever taken off is one month. But I don't have to worry about having bookings when I return since I have regulars and inform when I return. I don't think it would be hard to rebuild clients if you didn't have regulars since you can always join Priority Hours. And as far as I know, Cambly won't deactivate account but you may get a "where are you?" email after a long hiatus. If I find more info, I'll make a video. Hope this helps 😁
I'm confused. So you make a little over $2000, for the whole year of 2021? Thats very very very little money. Some people pay that much per month for rent. ....$2000 is way too low to make that in a whole year.... but thank you for the video.
I think it's not little. Why? Every week she only teach for 4hours and yeahh that's superb. also I think that since the currency of dollars to our money isn't that too high and too low it's just normal and if you work hard/fulltime you can get as much as you desired.

Here is what the tutor guide states: "Do I need prior teaching experience, a bachelor's degree and/or a teaching certificate to tutor on Cambly?....While these credentials are preferred, they are not necessary on Cambly. Our students are looking for people with the desire to help them practice speaking English in a fun, encouraging and professional environment!" I hope this helps.
so you get paid for every minute you speak? not per hour? that means if the student talks for 60% of the lesson hyou would only get paid for 40%? you will probably never get 10 dollars an hour then...

She said she has a main source of income. She said she only teaches on there about 4 hours a week. She only teaches on Cambly as a side hustle.
How are you making extra income from Cambly by posting videos? What are the other options besides tutoring?
