Well it could be a useful way to experiment with teaching! Yes, our expertise I more valuable;e, but if you want to specialise, it gives you an opportunity to see what works well and what doesn't. Plus, you can top up your income.
I'm studying for my TEFL certificate and want to start getting teaching experience. I'm just worried that no one will want to use me at first when I've had no students. It's hard to know what to say in an intro video when you have no experience too, I work as a cleaner currently that doesn't sound very good, does it?
Hello Mara. Thank you for the video. I found it highly informative. Would you mind telling me how easy it is to get hours on the platform? Is there an abundance of students available for tutoring? In short, is the demand high or do you have times where there are dry spells and you can't book enough lessons to get by?
Great questions! Id say the longer i was on the platform, the higher my ratings, the more student booking I recieved. As long as you keep your ratings high and teach with quality, you should be able to select as many hours you want to priority hours. Sometimes I had to turn students down because i couldnt accomodate them into my schedule.

Hi Bo! Yes! Absolutely! Cambly has teachers for students of all levels. 😄
Cambly is OK for conversation practice, but you'll need more resources to learn the language. Very little learning actually takes place on Cambly.
