    Another great video!
    QUESTION: Once I have set my values on one clip, how do I add the SAME values to all the other clips I have shot for that scene?
    Another Question: How do I set skin values for other skin colours?
    Yet another Question: With scenes where people of naturally different colours, how can I set the correct/average value?
    Many thanks!

      This one might help with your first question: support.apple.com/guide/final-cut-pro/copy-effects-between-clips-ver3029fc422/mac
      For the second one, we saw that this article covered some more diverse skin tones: larryjordan.com/articles/color-correction-make-people-look-normal/
      As for the third one, that is quite tough....You would have to decide what looks best to you, and possibly make several color grading masks if you're having trouble getting all the different variety of skin tones to balance in a scene. It may be useful to reach out to some kind of forum or platform where you can get some advice from editors with experience in this sort of thing! Hope this helps 😊

    For some reason on my RGB overlay, I don't have any numbers on the left, do you know how I can fix this?

    • @pixelfilmstudios
      @pixelfilmstudios  3 года назад

      This was made using an older version of FCPX so it's possible that you may have a version that may not have these same controls. We would recommend double checking with FCP support to see if this is the same on your version of FCP.

    How do you change the colour of the Luma scope? I prefer having two different colours mixing into a 3rd for the mid tones like you have in premiere but I can’t seem to be able in fcpx

    • @pixelfilmstudios
      @pixelfilmstudios  2 года назад

      We don't have experience with Premiere, but this page on Apple's website goes over various ways you can change the display for video scopes. If what you're looking for isn't here, it might not be possible to get the same result. You can always double check with Apple support just in case :)

    How do you get rid of it or hide it off the screen?

    • @pixelfilmstudios
      @pixelfilmstudios  3 года назад +1

      Hi Mariah! 😊 To remove your video scope from FCP all you would need to do is navigate back to your 'View' dropdown in your 'Viewport' and select 'Video Scopes' once again.
      You can also select 'Command + 7' to bring up your video scope quickly and remove it quickly.

    Why is there a big line (4) at the RGB parade?

    • @pixelfilmstudios
      @pixelfilmstudios  2 года назад

      It is one of the numerical values used to gage the Luma in FCPX. 4 would be the first positive value for the scale. The lowest value is -20, which appears below the 4 value in the chart.
