Landing Sanya, China (ZJSY) - Bombardier Global 6000

Sanya is located on Hainan Island which is referred to as the "Hawaii of China". The approach tracks right down the coast, flying over the Nanshan (South Mountain) Temple where you can see the 3 sided Gaunyin (Goddess of Mercy) statue towering out in the bay.
Short final always seems to get a bit turbulence and I believe its due to the sea breeze in the afternoon. On final you can also see to the left the large parking area for both corporate aircraft and airlines to accomodate the many tourist the region gets throughout the year.
For the eagle eyed amongst you, you may be able to spot at the main terminal a few "Pineapples". Designed into the building are what appear to be giant pineaples, I assume to keep in line with the tropical feel of the Sanya and Hainan Island region
