We will most likely add a receiver in the spring. We should be good with Hudson, Ross another guy and having Clifford and hopefully Denamrk can be the 3rd-4th and bloom into a #1

Agreed, if K. Saunders can stay healthy we can possibly get something out of him and see his potential!!!!

Penn State went after very high profile DCs. The teams they are already on wanted to keep them. Extension

Pass plays should be designed based on personnel. For Drew, 60% of the pass plays should be where he releases the ball in under three seconds. Run a slant with Hudson, a curl with Reynolds, and Singleton peel off at the same time.

They need to utilize more check downs//screens to keep the defense on their toes n get drew into a rhythm. There wasn't nearly enough of that this year and there should have been, especially with an average receiving core outside/downfield

Kls was #2 at auburn behind coleman, that helped him too

    • @JasonKleps

Um,he had almost double the receiving yards that Coleman did. He was the 1.

    • @bradishler5967
      @bradishler5967 7 дней назад +1

Yeah. KLS was what we needed. Had big pass receptions one game he had a 60 yard td and a 54 yard td. He had a little under double the yards Coleman had. 981 to Colemans 500 something.

Somehow many act like this is the end of the world. Everyone relax- I'm sure the problem will resolve itself, even if nothing is done for months. There is still the staff on board..

Bring in Lavar Arrington for LB coach

Dylan nailed it. Poindexter has not designed a defensive scheme at the top level of football ever. He does NOT check all the boxes. You do not hand the keys of a Maserati to someone who only drove a LADA.
Identify who you want and ask, "What would it take for you to come to PSU?" How it's done in the corporate world.

I heavily disagree with Zach on this. When we brought in Marques Hagans the pitch for him was he was good at turning low rated WRs at Virginia into stars. You know working with what he has it was never said that he was a good recruiter. He has failed in doing what he was supposed to be good at. You can’t feed us misinformation when we remember what you were saying when he was hired. Marques Hagans needs to go Omari Evan’s and Harrison Wallace were too physically gifted to play the way they did.

Zach you deserve to have your channel be unsubscribed to for this, but I will give you another chance to rectify it.

Watch him long enough and you'll realize he is one of the biggest homers and copers you'll listen to if you're a penn state football fan. Which honestly says a lot lol. He breaks things down pretty decent, but hes emotionally attached to the team and his own past takes

@@caseyschoenleber1760 I am a loyal fan of Penn State too but I don’t like people double backing on what they say. Now I’m not sure in retrospect if Blue and White Illustrated or Locked On Nittany Lions said Marques Hagans was a talent developer but I do remember people saying he was.

I'd rather a big time recruiter who brings in naturally talented guts who don't need as much time developing than these project WRs. I have seen zilch from Hagans thus far. Just go get a guy who can recruit ready to go WRs that don't need all this development coaching at all. Up NIL in WR dept if need be.

Shouldn't WR's be climbing all over each other to catch balls from the future #1 QB in the NFL draft? Since they aren't, is it the QB isn't all that good?

Money is the big issue. Penn State pays some guys very well but it's hard when some schools offer millions for 1 guy and we don't pay that much

If Allar was a great passer, the offensive scheme would’ve adjusted to him. It’s says a lot that KLS left last year, our top 2 receivers are leaving this year, and 2 NFL-ready RB’s were begged to come back. Don’t expect that much more from the passing game next year
