Chapter 1 translation (other chapter translations in replies)
Question 1: How do you tell what to do (who is advantage and disadvantage) when moon drive is activated? e.g. what do you do when you see the opponent's 5a during the moon drive animation? Please explain how to read this situation
Answer 1: In general, the person who activates moon drive is minus (-2). However, your opponent's move will sometimes miss due to the invincibility frames, so even though you're -2 you can win the exchange in some cases.
If you counter moon drive with your own moon drive, it becomes even. In this case, one very powerful option in this case is throw, due to the fast startup. If both players throw, the player who activated moon drive second will never lose the exchange (the player who activated moon drive second will either land the throw or the other player will tech the throw).
So what do you do if your opponent activates moon drive after your moon drive? A good idea is to throw out a jump overhead, preferably a move with a large hitbox. Any move that is strong against grounded opponents (doesn't have to be a normal). However, iad attacks often don't make it in time, so just a regular jump attack is better. (see 1:41 for examples).
In summary, throw is generally very strong, and to counter throw you can use jump overhead attacks.
Next, what happens if you see 5a during the moon drive animation? Oftentimes, 5a will miss due to the invincibility frames, but this depends on the timing and properties of the move (see 2:50 for examples)
If you see the move in active frames (e.g. akiha's red lines on her 2p) you should push a fast button to hit your opponent and start a combo.
If the move is still in startup, use DP. It is important to make this decision quickly, but it's not easy and requires practice. Every character has different visual cues on their moves.
In addition to this, if the opponent whiffs the attack due to the i-frames, they can kara cancel their normal into shield. One thing I tend to do is use shield, which puts pressure on your opponent to make a decision. Using shield without activating any of the counters afterwards is a quite strong option. For example, if you shield the opponent's attack, they will often shield back, which leads to many good things for you.
This is the basic flow of how to make reads after moon drive activation.

      Chapter 2:
question 2: I'm having trouble closing distance as saber, and I don't know what to do in neutral. I have hallucinations that the opponent will shield my attacks and I will lose miserably, please help. Btw I use saber.
First off, closing distance - use high jump BEJC (j[C]). This is the best option. While doing this, watch for shield. If you see any sort of shielding, press BC. Just doing that will heavily reduce the damage you take.
      Chapter 3: Shield battles
A counter: beats an opponent who does nothing, but can be shielded in return. Basically think of it as you win vs opponents who do nothing.
B counter: beats opponents who try to shield your A counter. However, when your opponent has high moon gauge (e.g. 100%) this does not counter-hit due to the faster recovery from shield. However, when your opponent has

Chapter 4: Using normals from mid distance
Basic idea 1: stand right outside of your opponent's range and move back and forth. When the timing is right, move forward with one of your strong moves. For example, you can time your BEJC to win an air engagement, or time your grounded normals to coincide with your opponent landing. The important point is that if you're within their range, they will more likely be on guard and able to block your attacks, so you need to understand your opponent's range.
      Chapter 5:
Question 3: What is the best way to move around during the time before round start?
I typically either use a fast move or a strong move (e.g. Saber BEJC) right at round start. For example, hit JC as soon as the announcer says "fight" at the beginning of the round, or run up and hit 5A right as the announcer says "fight". Another option is to high jump around before the round, then use aerial throw right as the round starts.
In general, fast startup moves are important in this situation. However, it's totally valid to just wait around and start the match in neutral, esp. if your opponent is positioning themselves for that. In some cases, like when you're fighting against vlov, you probably don't want to start from neutral, so run up and punch him.
