The EXACT color of a birdhouse I built in grade 5. I obtained that color by mixing all the paint I could find , and that was the result! ( didn't have enough of one color to paint it all) The downside was the teacher thought my Dad built it for me, as he thought it looked to "professional". If only he knew my Dad would have ZERO interest in doing such a thing.
An amazing restoration of this important concept that influenced the 1957 to 1959 Mercury designs.
That is just Awesome.. It has been great following the restoration, and to see it driving is fantastic.

Amazing accomplishment just change the soundtrack to theme from the jetsons or something.
The jetsons didn’t come out until 1962, six years after the XMTC!
