This list was so comprehensive!! The only thing I’d add is that it’s simply interesting to see what a day/week looks life in a job that is so different than your standard corporate desk job.
We want to see you, retainer, no retainer, food, practice, whatever. Watching you watching paint dry is probly better than no MHP vlog ❤️ Oh if only you saw what we all see in your vlogs; wit, charm and a fresh take on the world.
Injury prevention and management tips for kids and for adults out there who don't have much experience with best practices of taking care of their bodies. What do you find helps keep you healthy? What challenges you? What would you tell 16 year old you if you could give yourself an edge at that age?
There are some great tips down below! Personally, I would love to learn more about your family and how your dad factored in your professional development - remember saying hi to him at at the Cincinnati FIVB in 2016. Thanks for sharing your life.
The McKibbin Brothers is someone you could maybe get inspiration from! Something like a combination of volleyball tutorials, tournament game play, behind the scenes, training and travel vlogs are always great! Congrats on the world championship!
Hi Melissa, my name is Jeremy Bossio. You met my wife at 6-pack while you were recording last week. She was the one that got really emotional when she saw you and Sarah. It is true that you are our favorite volleball player in the world and we are so proud of you both. My suggestion for your vlog is that you tell us some stories. People love stories. Maybe about how you started volleyball or how you found the beach. Stories about what drives you, why you like being Canadian or what it would mean to you to podium at the Olympics. We would love to hear your story :)
Omg! So glad you’re back! I’m a huge fan. Here are some vlog ideas! Training from a female volleyball player perspective, nutrition tips, goal setting, psychology during game play and how do you turn things around when you’re down 5 points, strategy on the court.
Welcome back. Speak to the Mckibbin brothers and also the Volleyball Vikings. Those guys should be the best motivation to get those vlogs working. Few tutorials, your trip to Tokyo probably good examples to vlog.
I loved your vlogs! I know they may seem repetitive, but to us it's so cool and it's a side of pro volleyball we don't usually get to see. So keep doing what you're doing girl!
I would love to hear something about sport psych and mental preparation for tournaments. I really loved the Sandcast podcast episode with you and Sarah where you talked about the "marriage" aspects of being in a team of only two. Something like that would be interesting.
1:24 is a show I'd order ten episodes of. Also you just trying to survive in Japan during the Olympics would be great. You have a great personality, I feel like you don't need to play it up for the camera and that naturally it would be something folks would enjoy if you just strung it together. Either way, good luck. Remember the little people when you get your first play button. What are you planning to edit on?
X fin!!!! Gracias! Gracias! Gracias!
Honeslty your vlogs are so dope I mean the vlogs that don’t even include what you might see “cool” stuff. See, just seeing what your doing even if it is what you might think would be boring to the typical viewer it’s actually the opposite to me and I think the majority of everyone else would agree with me. Sometimes a boring life can be the best vlogs ever! Haha! So don’t be limited what content you have because being boring is some of the best content like ever!
I want to see vlogs again and how about receipts for example from your banana bread or favourite smoothie. (Sorry for my bad English it's my second language so yeah)
Let’s see, maybe if you record practice some bloopers would be pretty funny. I’m not sure what you’re into but just going over that (movies, books, social activism, sports, etc...). Maybe a rap song with Sarah Sponcil 🤣
And there was much rejoicing! But in terms of things I would like to see it could be as simple as travel vlogs or it could be doing favourite videos or something a long those lines.
Honestly, I think most people who watch vloggers don't really care about what the vlogger is doing... we just want to see you little bit, I guess... and then we're gonna get tired of you...but then we're gonna miss you again eventually
Hi Melissa! Big fan

Yessss - my family is SO important to me and this journey! I'll have to dedicate a whole video to that

I appreciate that feedback! So important for me to know :)
Also just you eating random food and getting attacked by plants is pretty fun :)
I love eating food so that is not a problem! The plant attacks I could do without
INJECT THIS DIRECTLY INTO MY VEINS.

Cool! Yes! Definitely a huge part of the sport. I'll see what I can brainstorm
Excited to see the road to the olympics!

How to be mentally strong in volleyball!
Everyday life is fun so just that please ... no need for perfectionism here ... we love you retainer and all : )

You can show us all what you want, we will love all.😊
I want to see vlogs again and how about receipts for example from your banana bread or favourite smoothie. (Sorry for my bad English it's my second language so yeah)
Melanie, I think you meant recipes, not receipts. Otherwise your English was perfect.
