Havent played tibia since 2011. Coming back has been an extreme shock. Everyone is extremely high levels, people selling and buying characters, and huge inflation of gold spending. I'm 100% a solo player and will always be, I'll work on my knight at my own pace. Exactly how it should be.
I agree with you, but I don't think nerfing 4 team xp will solve. Because a lot of players who already hunted in teams abused this mechanic so this will create even more imbalance. Best way is to buff solo, duo and trio hunting only.

Great video. Goes to the point of the biggest problem of Tibia now. (A fixable one, Dominandos is a more complex issue) And is something that can be fixed easily. If you are a normal person, that wont have the exactly free time of the same Party. Gonna spend 1h+ per day, trying to find a Full Party. Trying. Not always gonna work. One day this process gets tiring... And you will gonna focus on Solo, to have less frustration in-game. But then you realize the huge difference of XP and Profit, Team Hunts are doing. And this is a constant huge frustration to Solo Players. The game should be about enjoy the time, not a permanent Huge Unbalanced thing. And as the solution points out, a good Boost to Party is expected and reasonable. Just doesnt need to be as Huge as it is today.
Great and well timed video, this should had been adressed by cipsoft time ago, now we have whales (2500) and its imposible. And 1 more thing, shouln't defensive prey be removed or at least get nerf to 15% just as a defensive imbuements, its another reason teams are OP since haracetrs are overperforming and also can not be killed by the creatures.

Great video as always Lee. If they increases base XP to 150% and rebalance party xp to 35% would be the same for 4x hunt, also they have to accordingly fix boosts so increasing all creatures xp by 50% would be better.
Tibia Needed to create something to make team hunting a thing. They also had issue with Paladins and Sorcs not being invited to hunts. Mainly it was Druids and Knights many many many years ago. The Party share was a way to help fix this. EVEN if its OP - imo - its ok because it brings people together. Now its unbalanced for a solo player. So how do they fix that?
I doubt Cipsoft will change it anyhow, because teams are investing more TCs, and they heavily impact the incomes of Cipsoft. After all, their goal is to earn as much money as they can, not to improve the life of majority of players. If those 20% of TH players are giving them 80% of incomes, they will not worry about those 80% of solo players, who are responsible for only a small amount of their cash income. Regarding the issue - all mentioned things are right, and I agree with your point of view. The update which introduced party exp bonus ruined the game in the long run.
Mind Boggling that that Poll in 2021 was clear for solo players, but CIP have moved aggressively towards team only play since then??? I keep quitting rl tibia and moving to OT servers because i can actually compete as a solo player. ON rl tibia, solo players just fall into the shadows.
IMHO the players huting solo are probably less likely to spend TCs on prey cards, bonus exp etc. I wouldn't be surprised if CiP makes 80% of their revenue from those 17% of players that prefer to hunt in team. More exp and more killed creatures -> more profit and easier exp -> easier access to gps -> easier access to TCs and so on. Of course lower levels would be forced to buy TCs for real money rather than currency in game. It feels to me like more and more hutning ground are designed for team hunts for lower levels.
the only way is to introduce a hazard system for all player while not in a party the problem with what you say is that teams actually risk a lot to get that exp, even the teams in rotten blood getting 24kk raw have the rp losing 20k hp every few seconds, it's very high difficulty right now I'm lvl 1150 and it's impossible for me to die without a dc in solo so, you can reward solo players with more exp, but it needs to come at more dmg taken, a hazard system would be perfect for this I could see a nice system being a new window you can open when not in a party where you can sacrifice %loot and %dmg to gain %exp I might want to sacrifice 50%loot and take 50% more dmg to gain 50% more exp, numbers would have to be tweaked but this is the only way to increase solo difficulty that is currently non existant and increase the rewards also it would increase waste also which is a nice by-product
I think this comes down to needing better solo respawns as at the moment you have level 1000’s decimating respawns that were created for level 250’s back in the day. It’s a hard thing to tune/scale spawns that are good for the intended levels but not attractive for people the higher levels that will want to exploit it. Asura palace, rosha valley for example are designed in a way that encourages this and it’s not overly healthy. They just need more solo spawns to encourage the higher levels to take a higher risk. But based on the diversity of levels now (having level 0-2.3k now) it’s all kind of become a mess and maybe a hazard system would be a good idea to tidy up who should be in what spawn

Now just balance the Sorcerers and Druids, Druids have better dmg spells than the sorcerers with their beams. They should give sorcerer Fire Burst, Energy Burst or Death Burst (2 of the 3) instead of the beams! And they should give druids another (better) way to heal so sorcerer don't have to use runes (now a lot of high lvl sorcerers use a script or macro for this just because it's almost impossible to do for real)! It would also be cool if they designed more hunting spots that would be good for druids and sorcerers, I bought a mid lvl (850+) sorcerer for the first time in december, before I always had Paladins and knights and man mages have so much fewer huntspots than knights and paladins!
I believe that the best solution for that would be making teamplay a exp focus effort while solo hunt is a profit focus effort. We can see some teams profiting way more then solo players in some ranges. But ofc, the player that wanna powergame while solo would suffer, but that might be in all mmos ever. Teamplay is always more viable to powergame, but it shouldnt be as profitable. Good video anyway, it does show the disbalance. I dont agree with the conclusion. I think a nerf in teams exp bonus would make a huge chunk of players just quit the game.

Exactly this. - With all the exp nerfs it already takes so long to level up, it is impossible to catch up to anyone who have enjoyed the benefits. This will lead to a mass exodus from tibia aswell. When I hunt solo it is typically worse exp, but way better profit. With the decifits already shown where you actyually have a lower wuality of life, there is no way you would even try to teamhunt anymore but solo level. Also, this doesnt create more space even. busy servers are controlled by dominando and it is hard to get good solo spawn. By removing benefits from teamhunting, tibia is just going to be way more busy. Thinking of removing the little benefit it has is weird to me.
If there was 7 days of premium possible, I would play real more often. I don't want to oay for 30 days PACC when I only am able to play max 10 days or less.
i have to disagree about the classes being balanced. i feel like ms should have slightly more survivability for solo hunting than they do. i know they gave them a permanent prismatic ring with their new spell but it feels like they need a little more. even if it were just a speed boost at levels under 1000. i think ed is actually far superior to ms now days with everything they have to offer compared to the ms that just brings slightly more dmg and even that is situational depending on the monster you’re killing.
Honestly, this video has aged like milk. First, the arguments brought does not apply to all levels. On my 750 ms, we can teamhunt and push ish 9kk raw, as solo, I can push 8kk raw. On my 330 ek, we can push 3.6kk raw on duo, 4kk raw in 4 man and I can solo about 3.2kk raw. However! Teamhunting is extremely beneficial for bad players, since they can more or less get boosted. A bad ek can just go to his box and start dealing damage, the team will lure to him. A bad ed can just stand on his bomb and let everyone else work. A bad rp can be carried by a good ms etc. As a solo player, you are 100% reliable on yourself. However! To survive my teamhunts, I need 2x defense imbue on my ek, solo, I just go with max phy from gear and am fine. As a ms, I have to stress with UHs, which are extremely hard to do efficiently (I’d love to see anyone cast 500 efficient UHs per hour in a hunt before you complain.) The entire thing with solo spawns being better for teams are false aswell. It might have been true in 2014, but not in 2024. All in all, I think teamhunting vs solo hunting is in a great position - but I would love to see more solo spots for mages, and especially for the druid on higher level.
Mate, solo or th or duo u can do same numbers.. for example 500ek 6kk raw solo mirror, 500ms 6kk raw cobras 500x th 6kk ice lib 800lvl th 8kk raw th, 800ms 8kk raw dragons 800ek 8kk rW cobras It's about knowledge where u can do and how. 1.5k lvl th doing 13,14k raw Solo dragons 11k raw, flimsy 12k raw, ingol 14k raw at 1.5k So cmon If u smart u can do more solo as th, just is not easy as th, because u need put effort in EQ Skills, that's the only problems, but number u can do same.
There are also terrible assumptions in your video. In your 2024 Catacombs example, you assume because a druid does 452k damage in a team, they would also be doing 452k damage if they were hunting solo, thus they would be earning 1.4kk raw/hr instead of 3.3kk raw/hr. I do significantly more damage when I solo hunt compared to what I do in team hunts, simply because I have more damage uptime. You can't use team hunt statistics and copy paste them into solo hunt statistics.
One of the worst ideas I have ever heard. I make 10.5kk raw exp/hr solo while in a team, I make 12kk raw. If team hunting gets nerfed from +100% exp to +35% exp, I will be making 8kk exp/hr raw. There would be no point in coordinating with a team. The highest level teams right now are making 24kk exp/hr raw. I even hear suggestions of removing the exp bonus completely. Imagine a team of level 2500's earning 12kk exp/hr raw. Even with the +35% exp bonus, they'd be making 16kk exp/hr raw while putting the effort to coordinate with 3 other players
i comme from time when i would pay 150 elder druid to heal mee while i full box formorgar mines in svargrond and spam mana pots exori gran xd and that was best xp in tibia... no other classess was able to pull that out

Unfortunately that is the pay wall for people who can only play a day or two a week. Active players can earn enough in game currency
Should be good thing if they make new worlds with this implented. Its a shame solo playing is not worth it...
