    GCA,
Glad you got this one, I've heard nothing but great things! I bought the 3/4 scale version of Arcade1Up's Defender and I absolutely love it! I was actually upset at first when Arcade1Up announced this Defender Partycade edition after I had already purchased their 3/4 scale, as the Partycade had a button configuration that matched the arcade, but I can tell you, Arcade1Up did such an AMAZING job with the button configuration on the 3/4 scale edition that I can play Defender just as well as I did in the arcade and it didn't take anytime at all to get used to the new configuration, it just felt right. And Tapper on the 3/4 scale? That's where it's really at for me! Having one Joystick to move the character and separate joystick to pour drinks, talk about a near commercial arcade experience! I even bought a wooden joystick battop to simulate the feel of a beer tap. I couldn't give that up for the Partycade, because I just love the game Tapper even more. I think it's a give and take when it comes to both the Defender Partycade and its 3/4 scale counterpart. One gives an original feel for Defender and the other one for Tapper. Would've been cool to have both, but my home arcade only has so much room :)
And by the way, you don't suck at Defender. Defender is a notoriously hard game. I'll bet everyone preforms similarly their first time, I know I did. And I never mastered it at a quarter a pop in the arcades, but boy is it fun! It's a shame Arcade1Up couldn't have moved the right hand side buttons on the Partycade just a smidge higher to add in an additional button, so it could play Defender's sequel, Stargate, but the room might not have been possible. Still, this is a very decent games lineup for a Partycade.
I recently purchased a second Partycade, a Super Pac-Man, from a company called DIY Retro Arcade. They upgraded the buttons and stick and added in a Pandora box with hundreds of vertical oriented games! It's pretty great and just goes to show that Arcade1Up's Partycade form factor is a success! I have to tell ya though, mounting the Partycade to a wall is the way to go. It takes the experience to its best level! When I got my first Partycade, my Ms. Pac-man (shows up in many of my videos), I tried the "hang on the door" method first, but it just moved too much. I then tried to play it a few times just sitting it on a table like you show in this video, but mark my words, there's a reason the Partycade comes with those additional table stands, and it will tip and crash at some point without them :) If you have the space, definitely consider a wall mount. You won't be sorry, and if you happen to get an additional Partycade, you can easily swap them from the hanging bracket by just lifting the Partycade off. It's a brilliant design!
When Arcade1Up does things right, I praise them, and the Partycade is one of those rare times they knocked it out of the park! Thanks for the review!

WOW,awesome VideoGamesVegas! When I get some merchandise, I promise you I will give you a great gift basket full of goodies! Stargate would have been a great stand-alone marquee title for arcade1up as well at Budwiser or Root Beer Tapper to celebrate the bar crowd! Can you image Root Beer or Badwater Tapper next to a golden tee (beautiful) arcade1up cab!
When come to the game line for both 3 quarter scale and partycade, I was going to three quarter scale when I saw in Sam Club but the game list was exactly like the Mk2 and Mk3 legacy so that why I pass! When you see the partycade lineup, it is mind-blowing why it didn't produce more! You see the prices on eBay and other third-party companies that sell Partycade, It costs as much as the deluxe or XL!
VGV, I would love to have you one talking about games, and I think we have a good time...

This is definitely the best PartyCade they came out with. I picked this one up a couple years ago brand new on clearance for around 250. If you can find it now definitely grab it! I still play it twice a week!

You can still find this partycade, and you can find it under 500.00 or lower in your area. I would buy it immediately! It is the unicorn of the partycade universe!

    Good review!
It’s a bucket list item for me … one of only five Arcade1Ups that I want and I want the partycade form factor actually, but I understand why you’d want different form factor
(I have two of my five so far)

Thank u for the positive greeting, sir! The reason why I want the form factor change is because I have 50 plus Arcade1up, MVSX, Atgames, and Gottlieb products that are already in the 3 quarter scale and plus want everything to match so it willnt fuk wit my PTSD lmao..

I agree! Especially how the controller on the MK2, and MK3 legacy was made for those games!

i want to say thank you for watching the review and unboxing... I found my partycade on Ebay for 300, but I had to pay double because it was a local sale by owner, and I gave him a price he couldn't refuse! Right now, it a ongoing project to be turn into a deluxe cab with the proper controller..
