Omg I'm here so early haha SO EXCITED YOU'RE SEEING THEM NEXT MONTH, CONGRATS! THAT'S GONNA BE AWESOME! I honestly found the lyrics for puppet show to be tongue and cheek, so I find it odd that there are people taking such offense? It's using language of the sub/dom relationship "switch roles . . . make 'em do what we want," to poke at deeper societal female empowerment, and taking control back of your own life. Also like, if they're saying that by switching the roles that they'll become a puppet master, then clearly they currently feel like they're being played like puppets on strings! Which, given the lyrics, they don't like feeling that way! So if you're uncomfortable with the idea of being a puppet on a string, lmao good! You're getting the message of the song! Also, I don't believe that they're genuinely advocating for a matriarchy to replace our patriarchy or anything so heavy handed; I think it's just an evocative/provocative way to get women to take back the power that's been stripped of them--and continues to be stripped of us by people in power. tl;dr, a provocative song, in multiple meanings of the word, lmao. X-GENE IS ONE OF MY FAVES OFF THE ALBUM, IT'S SO GOOD! COCONA'S TONE? THE BEAT? It's basically a second intro for the album, but everything about it is just way too good. Like, these girls do not make b-sides lmao everything is title-track worthy! The flow of the whole album is flawless, literally no-skip, whoever commented calling it a concept album was so right.
As a guy i do not find this offensive at all considering some of us do play with our female's heartsing sometimes. Its a double standard. I agree. I honestly didn't see anything wrong with the lyrics. You can clearly see by reading the first few lines of the song on how the girls are expressing their distaste on how (I'm assuming) a guy (who probably was in a relationship with them) treated them like a "puppet" that he could just manipulate. In the pre chorus, when juria said "imagine a world where the roles are reversed..." it felt like it was sang not out of hatred but in a way that she wanted "the guy" to realize if the roles were reversed, and if the girls were then the puppeteers( manipulators) then the guy would express the same distaste. The message was actually about equality and that you shouldn't do things that you wouldn't want the other person to do to you. --- that's how I interpreted it.
Simon said that the song has a lot to do with female idols deal with this in the industry. They are treated like puppets, they have to do what they are told , they don't listen to them and they can't speak up also. I think people should learn to read between the lines sometimes and dont take it straight. Art can be see by so many ways... than just 1 vision. So some people need to open themselves more when they want to try to interpret a song. Thats just my point of view. I draw since im a Child i always been in the art part. So maybe thats why im thinking this way.. ^^ Always good to see your reaction and support to our Queens 🐺🫶🔥 hope you gonna have a Nice end of wee and enjoy your week-end ☺️
Ohhhhh that’s super interesting! Makes a lot of sense as well. But I also love that it can be taken by the viewer in a few ways. It sparks conversation on the bigger issues at hand and (hopefully) these conversations lead to education and change for the better!
@@melaniereacts yeah... i mean. We are not blind. Im a man and i know what is XG values and Simon too. I know what they are and fight for. When you know them. The question doesnt even exist. Feel a bit sad that some of "men" on the internet can't accept the concept of Puppet Show, it's just a concept of the song. They feel offensed by the concept of the girls control the world and put them under the puppet strings. I, a grow ass men, feel that a shame. Aside of that, Puppet Show is so good, it let the vocal line show off their talent, but still the rap line make us amaze like always. X-gene definitely the top song but it's so short that make Alphaz feel so hungry. And I got goosepump when the wolf howling in Hesonoo.
Yeah it’s crazy isn’t it. Although it’s getting people talking about gender equality so I mean, maybe some good will come of it 🤷🏼♀️ Banger of an album though 😍😍🙈
I think it is also highly likely that it's about the idol/kpop industry... if you look at the chorus lyrics, and imagine those words coming out of like a entertainment company ceo's mouth or something it totally make sense... "Welcome to the puppet show (that's the kpop indusctry) Where we (ceo/ high position people) play'em (those girls idol) like their (girls') plastic dolls (girls play dolls) They'll do anything anything anything When you got'em hanging by a string by a string Gonna play'em like their toys We'll make'em do what we (producers/ those in control / fans / audience ) enjoy They'll do anything When you got'em by a string"....
It’s absolutely about their journey, the Xenophobia and prejudice they sadly experienced in the beginning and even facing certain people who proposed to protest at their LIVE Performances at the Music Shows. They’re just about creating empowerment and positivity. This was their goal from the beginning as JAKOPS had explained when he created this Japanese Global Girl Group. I love this new genre Xpop and I believe SIMON is a genius. X-Gene is flowing on a drill beat. Thank you Melanie for supporting and reacting to XG’s new MV “Puppet Show”. 🙋🏻♀️🎼❤️🔥🇺🇸🐺
I think I know the reactor you're talking about and he was downright nasty towards the girls and said very misogynistic things in general. The song is not about the members of XG wanting to live in a world where they can dominate men but it's a revenge fantasy. Someone that is hurt by the hurt they've received will sometimes wish they could retaliate so the other person knows how it feels but that's all it is. They're not advocating for violence towards men or misandry. The lyrics are very bold so I can see why some people might be slightly put off and that's fine but that reactor was way out of line. There's also other motifs in the MV like one of the comments you read about their teeth etc. I honestly never thought Puppet Show would bring such discussions but I'm glad it did. Anyways, can't wait for the XTRA XTRA episode and later on when you get to their behind the scenes content so you know more about their personalities!
It’s very interesting because I’m seeing so many comments like “it’s so sexist because if a man did a song like this bla bla bla” but that’s the point. A MAN IS DOING THIS. They are the reason women are making lyrics that depict how they treat us. It’s ridiculous that people aren’t able to see the deeper meaning and how there is still such a big gap when it comes to equality. It just shows a lack of education honestly.
@@melaniereacts exactly, people are missing the point entirely because we don’t have to imagine the whole “if a man did this” because they already do! Constantly. Songs berating women are popular and they’re not even trying to send a message it’s just misogyny
XG are set to headline Billboard's THE STAGE at the first-ever SXSW in Sydney, Australia. Harvey said she is excited to perform in Australia and her grandparents get to see her. She's half Australian.
@@melaniereacts I have a bad habit of commenting while still watching the video cuz I get too excited. I should probably try to drop that habit. Saw you mention it at the end.
I completely agree with your interpretation of the lyrics/message of Puppet Show, and I really appreciate you addressing it... respectfully. You absolutely nailed it. 💯 Thank you!!
XG can't seem to miss, not even one step. They are everything. Complete artists in every sense of the word. PUPPET SHOW was a visual, vocal and aesthetic masterpiece. X-GENE is another warning not to mess with XG'S rapline, if you don't wanna get smoked. (the vocals in the end was so good too) And thank you very much for addressing that - yep as a man I didn't see anything wrong with lyrics whatsoever. XG is all about women empowerment that's why we love them so much. Thanks for the mad love for XG as always and more power to your channel. ❤
This. as a man i agree also. i dont see nothing wrong with the lyrics at all. plus XG has been on woman empowerment for the majority of the songs so i dont see why this "revenge fantasy" making everyone mad.
if a song gives multiple ideas of what it's about then the song has done it's job, cause everyone will hear the song in their own way and have their own ideas of what it is about, no one idea is right and no one is wrong, it is all about your personal view not a set view
Totally agree w/ you Mel. The producer is the CEO & will not let the male Alphaz think the song is about putting men down. But some are only taking it at face value.
I hope you enjoy the concert!! ❤🐺 Also you know the saying, if the shoe fits, yeah. As a man, if you don't see what is happening in the world or think this isn't true then yeah you are living in a bubble. Im sure if you tuned into puppet show then you have listened to other XG songs before and if puppet show was the only song that made you feel wrong because of the message, then you aren't paying attention to all the songs they are putting out which include various types of girl/women empowerment. I hope more people discover XG because they make feel good music, that type of music that just makes you feel like you can do anything.
So happy you'll get to experience them live ❤️🐺🎊🎉🌠 Also glad you spoke about that particular subject. XG really is bringing things to light, though it seemed to have struck a chord with them and took it too far with something that may have happened. Hopefully they heal and revisit with a different perspective.
Yeah, I've seen some reactors (males) being very uncomfortable listening to their songs and that makes me giggle bc' it is clear why they just feel that way ahahaha (sorry for the bad english) Love the reaction, have a nice concert
And with their lyrics, I wasn't taking it in a bad way. I basically thought they were talking about the music industry and how they are forced to do what their companies want. IDK that is just what I was thinking.
Thanks for your reaction! To me the whole album is about their affirmation to push forward and not be held back by society’s expectations, the music industry, gender roles, or any of life’s challenges. To take that leap of faith in oneself, together as a team and enjoying the moment. Just my 2 cents…
Your thoughts were spot-on. The lyrics are about what if there was a world where women treated men like men treated women. They used a role reversal to make their point. They're not being toxic; they're pointing out toxic issues. If men can't stand even the imaginary scenario, well then surprise, because women don't like the reality. Thankfully it seems that the majority of male fans have no problems with the lyrics and mostly defend them. Only a handful are getting mad about it Some people have theorized that the girls' wedding veils symbolize how girls and women have historically been forced into marriage, and once they escape to a new world, they leave that behind. It's an interesting stylistic choice for sure
Awesome reaction, keep it up, XG are the most tallented act around for years and they only make hits. no question....masterpiece after masterpiece...Maya-chan is the standout member in the puppet show MV....awesome....
Mel, thank you for addressing the issues about the lyrics. That reactor was a huge disappointment. But hey, if the shoe fits wear it right?. Enjoy their concert, it’s something to keep in your memories
the fact i know what reactor you’re talking about is comical. i tried watching his reaction and there was one thing he said that immediately made me click off their video lol
Yesterday the charts when XG's mini LP dropped. The list is actually much longer but i didn't to make it too long. The Puppet Show MV is also currently #2 trending worldwide. So I’m a law student in the US, and one of the heroes of the American legal system (and my law school!!) is the late, great Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. One time during an interview she was asked when she’d be satisfied with the number of women on the US Supreme Court and she said “when there are 9” (because there are 9 justices on the Supreme Court) and this was a whole controversy because people viewed it as radical, anti-men, oppressive, etc. but she qualified it by saying that, for the vast majority of American history, men have controlled the entire political, legal, and social systems, and that people didn’t question it as radical, so why should we question an all-female Supreme Court? That’s a slight tangent but this debate reminded me of that because, not only in society in general but in the music industry specifically, deeeeeply misogynistic lyrics were (and arguably still are) very very common and yet they were just part of the norm and mainstream. But when one female group sings something that is nowhere near controversial about female empowerment, some people argue that it’s somehow harmful to men and should be condemned 😂 I’m a man (cringe, I hate calling myself a “man,” male? idk) but some men are just so fragile, it’s truly embarrassing.
i only just got around to listening to the full mini album today, therefore just getting to your reaction ☺as someone who listened to the UK girl group Little Mix for so many years, who wrote and released songs with the same kind of message, i'm just happy that there's another girl group doing the same kind of thing (probably why i like XG so much!) they killed this project, and i'm so glad they showed all these different sides to their artistry! literally only complaint, which i believe everyone can agree with, i wish X-Gene was longer haha
Hesono is Japanese for umbilical cord, they say Hesono 'O as a chant. It means they are closer than siblings, XG is family. Hesonoo is an intro they also have a BTS MV shoot for it. Puppet Show is the Title Track but I actually like X-Gene better.
@@melaniereacts Yes, sorry I commented while still watching the video so I just assumed you would be reacting to audio of Hesonoo only like most everybody else. Glad you got to see the shoot though.
XGene is fantastic. flows right into the next track. i think the whole album should be listened to in one go but i get why people complain about it being short. gone are the days of long albums sadly. if there were 18 tracks no one would have a problem i think
I'll say it if you won't Melanie, only immature man-children are getting offended by Puppet Show. As a 31 y/o man, I like to think I've lived long enough, experienced enough, and am mature enough to recognize the advantages I have gotten in society that a woman didn't. XG from Day 1 has been about female empowerment. They are the peak of girl power in their discography. If any boy feels offended by its lyrics???? boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy this song aint for youuuuuuu
11:27 I know who you are talking about hahaha I was watching the reaction and went in shock with the arguments of this person so I wasn't able to watch the whole thing, it was too heavy. As for the MV, for me it's a clear message not only about women empowerment, but it's a social critique as a whole. We can see a group moving, doing the same things, day after day and ppl in that society trying to hold them back from spreading their wings 2:06 while those who actually dare to break free from this system end up facing the consequences being it negative with ppl blowing up in the process (both men and women we have blue and pink dust when this happens) or positive (when the girls break free together and not as an only individual and that, for me, symbolyzes your support network in this cruel society where is very hard to overcome hardneships when you are alone). So we have to be bold, take control of our lives and dare to seek for something better. We also have almost all of the girls there wearing marriage veils, talking about not being heard, etc so this is definitely a reflection of a society that doesn't value women the way it should. Mainly in Asian countries. That being said, the ONLY crime in this album is X-gene being too short 😂 but yes when you listen to the whole album it all makes sense 23:34 i'm listening to it on repeat and I can't even feel when it's over.
@@melaniereacts Tbh when I first saw the MV the more "straight in your face" meaning for me would be about women being hold back trying to live to society's expectations, so they have to be beautiful, they have to get married and have kids, they have no place to talk or have opinions, they have to obey (especially in Korea where you still have this very strong patriarchal thing). So how bold are you to break from that? What if we switched roles and do to you the same you are doing to us? So, after watching for a couple of times I saw the previous meaning that I wrote as well. The beauty of XG's MVs is that everytime you watch, you see something new. Sorry for the long text, again, I'm unable to communicate in a few characters🥲
I'm a 43 year old white heterosexual male who is also the president of a company. So I'm exactly the image people would target as a problem (without knowing me at all). XG is my ult group and has been since the beginning. (And still are). I'm also the father of a 14 year old daughter. One of the reasons I have loved XG since the beginning is their clear message of female empowerment which I fully support. I have loved how they were able to bring that message of female empowerment without needing to bring down men along the way. A requirement of women succeeding is not men failing - cooperation between the genders striving for equality has to be the answer. I'm choosing to take the meaning of this song like I took Mascara - not as a statement against all men, but as a statement against individual men who they had a bad experience with in a relationship and did not treat them well. And rightly so - anyone male or female who does not respect their partner in a relationship should be targeted in messages like this. 99% of the lyrics in the song are talking about a relationship. I think where this song missed the mark with me is the lines where they did take it beyond individuals and generalized it to the entire world. This is the first time I can think of where the XG message was no longer female empowerment, it was female domination at the expense of males on a broad scale. I don't like how they decided to raise up one group at the expense of another with such a generalized statement. I don't want my daughter to think that the only way she can succeed as a woman in life is if all men become her puppets - she's a strong woman who will be able to succeed right along side men next to her also succeeding building a better world together. But if she is ever in a relationship where her boyfriend isn't treating her right, I'll be the first in line cheering her on to turn him into her puppet (the jerk!).
That’s what makes “Puppet Show” so good as a song, it’s open for interpretation. I can see why some guys would be offended by it but those are generally the ones the lyrics apply to, they fear strong women and play victim while victimizing women. I’m glad that XG weeded those posers out and XG will grow regardless, they have been saying they do what they want and mean what they say in almost every song, and you just have to accept it, they will not be ran over by toxicity. Some other notes on why I love XG and it’s their use of double entendres and clever lyrics. XGene for example, “ Alpha to Omega level set it off” , 1 meaning: is the awareness that Xmen from the Marvel universe have the XGene also and there are different mutant threat levels, alpha being one and the most powerful being Omega level. 2nd meaning: Alpha to Omega, obviously meaning from beginning to the end they will set it off 3rd meaning: In a wolf pack the Alpha is the leader and the lowest rank is the Omega, Meaning that from the highest rank to the lowest rank they will also set it off I guess this is a triple entendre, See what I mean about their lyrics, This is what seperates them from others in the industry not just the amazing dancing, rap and singing talent. Their lyrics have meaning and not just filler lyrics to a nice beat with dancing.
I’m so happy 🎉💗🤣👏🏽. Melanie that you’re going to see XG at a live Performance. Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy ☺️❤️🔥🙌🏽. You’re the Best. Please take pictures or record something significant…if you can. I think that reactor who took offense of the lyrics of puppet show is going through a very bad break up. So he’s a bit more emotional than typical. So I understand him.
That's awful of course if true as breakups are never easy... but calling XG a "group of vaginas" and "tramps" in response is NOT understandable! 😅 Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but it comes down to how you express it. Being a reactor isn't easy... but it's ridiculous, disheartening, and embarrassing to have acted that way, especially knowing how many people are going to see your video... Only to then turn off the comments so that the awful things he said can't be spoken against. It's childish and cowardly. There were so many more ways to get his point across and he chose the worst possible way. He should just delete it, it isn't doing him, or us any favors. The whole situation just sucks for him and everyone who had to witness it. Regardless, I do wish him the best because I don't know what he's going through in his personal life... It just doesn't excuse his words however. There's being "a bit more emotional than typical" , and whatever THAT was. Maya once said, "Subliminal kids ain't tryna hurt no feelins unless the shoe fits". BOY does it fit.
@@legor4538 I must have messed that negativity from him, because I quickly stopped watching his reaction. I think I stopped watching because it just felt awkward. And that was just based on the first couple of sentences he said. When I see a reaction I just want to relax and feel share in the happiness and positivity. I don’t have the patience for negativity wether it’s justified or not.
I mean... if he's going through a breakup, then I'm not surprised. He didn't hesitate to just straight to the misogynistic comments. Imagine what that type of guy is like in a relationship. His ex would be better off without him
The truth is the majority of men are either manipulative or dominant in a partnership. Among a few other qualities that are for a smaller group of men that make our image look bad and that's the sad part for guys who are nice and caring, BUT ( and a big but) lol the fact is most women don't want the nice guy until they've matured mentally and there's alot of bad criticism from women, but for a sensitive guy like me, I try to think this doesn't apply to me, as I have never done anything wrong in a relationship, because I've never had one. And that's the thing I don't know if women see, they're in a bubble of what they know on social media and their own personal experiences but they don't see the whole story to put it simply. So some men might find this as bad for our reputation but hey we never had a good one to begin with. Btw I don't see this as a bad song, I really enjoy it, I just don't like the topic it brings up.
Also men’s pov and men’s tights are just laughed off. Women have all sorts of support systems. Men “un-live” ourselves way more precisely because we are never taken seriously. And just watch how many people will laugh my comment off or be mad at me for even mentioning it.
Thanks for your pov. What do you mean by “we are never taken seriously”. From my pov, this is very far from the truth but I’m curious as to what you are referring to? Xx
Love xg and this song, but lets be honest it's sexist. It's easy to prove it; just change the genders around. If Any boy group made a similar song with lyrics about male empowerment, just imagine all the hate they would receive.
You missed all the point. "Imagine a world where we could play different roles Where girls be takin' control" The song is telling you putting yourself to the roles of the girl who being controlled (or manipulated by someone), you can see it first verse : " It's time I get what I deserve Act like he don't know what I'm worth We spend a lot of time talkin' But it feels like I'm never heard" That mean the girl was treated like nothing and she want her power/existence back and said that imagin a world where she could do a different roles in this relationship/this life of her, that'd like she's the one who control and you're the one who being controlled with the puppet string. So how it feel? If you feel pissed off or feel offensed, yeah the song meaning is deliveried, that's how the girl feeling right now.
@@TeruIkuta "The song is telling you putting yourself to the roles of the girl who being control". Wrong. It's "Where girls be takin' control"; implying that Men are always in control in this world, and if the roles were turned around, "Wrapped 'round our fingers, they couldn't tеll us no, no, no". So men are to be puppets to women. "Where we play 'em like they're plastic dolls" "They'll do anything" "Gonna play 'em like they're toys" "We'll make 'em do what we enjoy" Almost every verse is sexist. lol Imagine if a guy sang this song towards women and lets see what the world would think. I personally don't care cause im not easily offended by shit like this and im too old to be caring about it. But the truth is, in a situation like this, if a man sang this song he'd be called terrible names, as to when these girls do it, its cute and edgy. Again, I don't care, but it tells you lots about how the world is today.
@dewdewdewdewdful so you know the meaning and still think it sexist? When in real life the problem of men controlled woman still exist? I'm a men myself but still see what happening in this world, a lot of woman were took away their right, their opportunities, their freedom,...by the men that think they're dominant men, or by the patriarchal man. Stop talking about "image if a guy sang this song" when you can't even stand for a song with lyric about woman take control. No guy sang a song like this because they already the control side not the puppet to be imagine about.

Looooove your explanation!
Huh interesting. Which reactor is that?
@@heyitzmeehreggie teddy something idk I saw a clip on Twitter and the little I did see was just 🤮
Right? Calling them a group of vaginas like lol that's not helping you
It’s very interesting because I’m seeing so many comments like “it’s so sexist because if a man did a song like this bla bla bla” but that’s the point.
Thank you for speaking on this. Women are still struggling to be themselves without judgment & to be confident. Men shouldn’t be putting women down.
Absolutely!
And he called them “stupid girls”. He apologized but it’s too late

Another great song written by Rachel West. She also wrote GRL GVNG. The theme and messages are clear. Just love it
Amazing job 😍😍
XG are set to headline Billboard's THE STAGE at the first-ever SXSW in Sydney, Australia.
Harvey said she is excited to perform in Australia and her grandparents get to see her.
She's half Australian.

@@melaniereacts I hope you enjoy it, I'm sure it will be an awesome show, it's XG so ofc it would be.
😘❤️❤️❤️
XG can't seem to miss, not even one step. They are everything. Complete artists in every sense of the word.
PUPPET SHOW was a visual, vocal and aesthetic masterpiece.
X-GENE is another warning not to mess with XG'S rapline, if you don't wanna get smoked. (the vocals in the end was so good too)
And thank you very much for addressing that - yep as a man I didn't see anything wrong with lyrics whatsoever.

Another interpretation of the lyrics is as a commentary on how female idols are treated by their labels and fans.
if a song gives multiple ideas of what it's about then the song has done it's job, cause everyone will hear the song in their own way and have their own ideas of what it is about, no one idea is right and no one is wrong, it is all about your personal view not a set view
Absolutely, you raise a valid point ❤️
Totally agree w/ you Mel. The producer is the CEO & will not let the male Alphaz think the song is about putting men down. But some are only taking it at face value.
Exactly right!!
Absolutely!!!
And thank you so much, can’t wait to see them live 😍

Also glad you spoke about that particular subject. XG really is bringing things to light, though it seemed to have struck a chord with them and took it too far with something that may have happened. Hopefully they heal and revisit with a different perspective.
Some people don’t take the time to read between the lines sadly.

Yeah, I've seen some reactors (males) being very uncomfortable listening to their songs and that makes me giggle bc' it is clear why they just feel that way ahahaha
(sorry for the bad english) Love the reaction, have a nice concert
XG❤🔥- They Are The Best! 🐺
Just my 2 cents…
congrats on getting their ticket to finally see them!!
I am SOOOOO happy 😍😍😍
Visually, the mv's seem like they're being released in reverse order.
Only a handful are getting mad about it
Some people have theorized that the girls' wedding veils symbolize how girls and women have historically been forced into marriage, and once they escape to a new world, they leave that behind. It's an interesting stylistic choice for sure

FOR LIFE ❤️
So I’m a law student in the US, and one of the heroes of the American legal system (and my law school!!) is the late, great Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
But when one female group sings something that is nowhere near controversial about female empowerment, some people argue that it’s somehow harmful to men and should be condemned 😂
I’m a man (cringe, I hate calling myself a “man,” male? idk) but some men are just so fragile, it’s truly embarrassing.
23:14: you ask: who is singing higher. That was Chisaaaaa 🔥😎 the Queen 👑
Melanie, my girl you are totally right!! 11:27 STAN XG!!!

i only just got around to listening to the full mini album today, therefore just getting to your reaction ☺as someone who listened to the UK girl group Little Mix for so many years, who wrote and released songs with the same kind of message, i'm just happy that there's another girl group doing the same kind of thing (probably why i like XG so much!) they killed this project, and i'm so glad they showed all these different sides to their artistry!
literally only complaint, which i believe everyone can agree with, i wish X-Gene was longer haha
Hesono is Japanese for umbilical cord, they say Hesono 'O as a chant.
It means they are closer than siblings, XG is family.
Hesonoo is an intro they also have a BTS MV shoot for it.
Puppet Show is the Title Track but I actually like X-Gene better.
Wow! That’s really cool!
@@melaniereacts Yes, sorry I commented while still watching the video so I just assumed you would be reacting to audio of Hesonoo only like most everybody else. Glad you got to see the shoot though.

I love the entire album, but X-Gene, as Jurin will say, Sheesh. It gives me the same sort of hype I felt from when I first heard Shooting Star.

Yayyy ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
😘❤️
Love your interpretation!!!! Great analysis ❤️
Great reaction ❤❤

(*´ω`*)
XGene for example, “ Alpha to Omega level set it off” ,
1 meaning: is the awareness that Xmen from the Marvel universe have the XGene also and there are different mutant threat levels, alpha being one and the most powerful being Omega level.
2nd meaning: Alpha to Omega, obviously meaning from beginning to the end they will set it off
3rd meaning: In a wolf pack the Alpha is the leader and the lowest rank is the Omega, Meaning that from the highest rank to the lowest rank they will also set it off
I guess this is a triple entendre, See what I mean about their lyrics, This is what seperates them from others in the industry not just the amazing dancing, rap and singing talent. Their lyrics have meaning and not just filler lyrics to a nice beat with dancing.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but it comes down to how you express it.
@@legor4538 and let's not forget he also called them "tramps". so unreal
I mean... if he's going through a breakup, then I'm not surprised.
I think you’re missing the point 😅😅😅
You missed all the point.
"Imagine a world where we could play different roles
Where girls be takin' control"
The song is telling you putting yourself to the roles of the girl who being controlled (or manipulated by someone), you can see it first verse :
" It's time I get what I deserve
Act like he don't know what I'm worth
We spend a lot of time talkin'
But it feels like I'm never heard"
That mean the girl was treated like nothing and she want her power/existence back and said that imagin a world where she could do a different roles in this relationship/this life of her, that'd like she's the one who control and you're the one who being controlled with the puppet string.
So how it feel? If you feel pissed off or feel offensed, yeah the song meaning is deliveried, that's how the girl feeling right now.
@@melaniereacts I love how you just say it and don't explain why.
"Where we play 'em like they're plastic dolls"
"They'll do anything"
"Gonna play 'em like they're toys"
"We'll make 'em do what we enjoy"
Almost every verse is sexist. lol
Imagine if a guy sang this song towards women and lets see what the world would think.
❤❤❤
