Jimmie Walker is THE MAN!!!! His contribution here MADE this entire piece. It's sad that Hollywood spit him out so easily, since the reality is he is as funny as he is insightful (@2:48 I started laughing uncontrollably...there's a joke BEHIND that joke). I seriously hope all the success in life for him.
I got to hand it Richard Pryor. He came from humble beginnings. To me he was the greatest comedian. He brought comedy down to it's basic level. Like other comedians have done before. Comedians like Bob Hope, Abbott and Costello and Mom's Mabley , Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Pigmeat Markham, and Rodney Dangerfield, Lawanda Page Redd Foxx, Jerry Lewis, Rom Rickles and Phyliss Diller, Betty White, Benny Hill and Lenny Bruce, Dick Gregory Godfrey Cambridge, Robin Williams, George Carlin. These comedians have their styles of doing comedy. Richard Pryor have his own style and form of doing comedy. He tell stories about his life growing in Peoria, Illinois and being in the military In 1963 Pryor moved to New York City and began performing regularly in clubs alongside performers such as Bob Dylan and Woody Allen. On one of his first nights, he opened for singer and pianist Nina Simone at New York's Village Gate. He appeared on a variety of shows, such as the Ed Sullivan Show, The Merv Griffin Show, and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He also appeared in movies in the late 1960s through 2003. He performed comedy concerts on stage in 1960s through the 1980s and did comedy albums from 1968 to 1983. Richard Pryor is a very funny guy at times he's known to make us cry. Most important of all can make us all laugh. As always he is a very funny guy help us to keep laughing to forget about the bad things that are going on in the world these days. If laughter is the best medicine, then I don't need a prescription for refills. Laughter is always there when you need it or not. Sometimes laughter can make one forget about what he or she is angry or upset about. Richard Pryor we will always love you. Laughter all the way. A Comedian's Comedian. 1940 - 2005. RIP.
I know right I just made a statement in part one that I also had Redd Foxx albums I had the guy who played in car wash with the afro I can't think of his name but I used to have his album too because he was comedian as well, my favorite story was about the almonds in the dressing cuz baby you had roaches to like everybody else and then we're good weren't they
I have an album releasing in March, entitled “The Franklin Lennox Thomas Show” I say that now, because I am proudly, introducing the new wave of “Rich” fans to one fan’s influence and downright idolatry of the way in which Richard Pryor expressed his pain, love and life through ART. Why just comment on this now? Well, because, respectfully, I don’t wanna be labelled as someone who “just found him.” There’s not a THING wrong with someone who did, but as aforementioned...I didn’t. He’s inspired atleast a portion of EVERY YEAR of my life, since, say 2011, which was over five years after he passed, however it was when I found “Rich” and who “Rich” was. I’ve been thankful for his influence (as aforementioned) atleast once, every year since....I like to think that I appreciate the path he single-handedly trail-blazed as much as anybody, ever. It inspired us all in unmeasurable ways. Ok, I’m done here now. Stevey Owens -The Franklin Lennox Thomas Show....coming to you on all music platforms in March 2020 Have a great night, jack
In 1995 i was sent to prison in ohio...i was a skinny red head from a white county...my first cell mate was a black aspiring rapper from columbus convicted of murder...he decided to start cat calling at the white women guards out the window...the guards came to the two man cell and took us both to the hole because i wasnt about to rat someone out on my first week in prison...so i get thrown in the hole which was a toilet and a dirty mattress on floor...so i lay on this mattress and i feel a lump under it...i get under there and its a book...the bible? Nope...twas richard pryors autobiography...i was a voracious reader my entire life so i devoured this book ...read it over and over like it was a bible(which to this day ive never have read a word of)... I remember this book was missing the final 20 or so pages and that really bummed me out....richard pryor got this white boy through some of the toughest times of his life...next to redd foxx funniest man ever...big dummies
It's amazing how people of color look so beautiful as they age, men and womenand especially I think Mike Epps looks so much more handsome and distinguished as he is getting older
This is interesting. Richard Pryor had to go through a lot, to get to where he was at, when he became a star. What was interesting was he went through a lot of imitations he really didn't want to do, to gain acceptance, to end up just being himself, which we just loved his uncharted humor, just naturally funny. This actually sounds like real life for everybody, how we go through hoops and hurdles, to finally arrive at being ourself. ✌❤🙏🌹🎵
Everyone back the. Was having free Sex and doing drugs. They never came after Cosby until He tried to purchase NBC twice, next thing They came at Him by any means necessary. Bill Cosby use to try and educate Black People about Our History, and so on. He helped so Many to get funding to further Their Education and really cared. He help so Many People break in to Hollywood and convinced Them to further Their Education as well.
Richard Pryor will always be THE BEST.

"Deen Martin he remind me of Mississippi..."
Signed: Emmitt Till
The most racist clip in this part was the way that racist white talk show host said tap dance Richard. Reperations now 2020
Merv Griffin. He was an asshole.
Let those who treated black folks in a mean racist way pay reparations. Not people who had nothing to do with it.
Damn Mike Epps looks hella old!
Not really
Think it's just the grey
He looks ok to me.
Right
Roger Wilco bruh he’s an admitted ex crackhead.
