I love how this game waits until the very end to really start kicking your ass. The moment world 6 begins, you know shit just got real. The first ghost house of that world is the only time I've ever run out of time on a Mario level and had to consult with the internet. That's having played Mario games for years and years lol.

I actually find this game terrible for two reasons:
1. Coins
2. Reuses sounds, music, boss fights, and design from NSMB Wii. Basically a port.
3. Just bad overall in my opinion

The old Super Mario Brothers was not as easy as this and I'm 36 almost 37 years old. I remember the old one back on the Nintendo Entertainment System and you didn't have the option of saving where you left off and the levels could be pretty difficult.

Also, I had to sell the NES and used the money to buy the digital version on the Wii; but it will always have a special spot on my heart, even now, I still remember going through the game of couple of times just to get the P wing and beat the last levels, I never could beat the actual game though.

Just got 1 millions coins about 20 mineutes ago on May 17, 2019. I purchased the game sometime in december of 2013. That means it took 5 and half years to get 1 million coins!!
Now get 9,999,999 coins (or die trying)
I played this game whenever I had time, and actually, it took only 4 months to collect 1,000,000 coins. I can’t imagine how much I was addicted in such game.

Brooooo!!! I remember in 2012 having my 3ds and I finished this hole game all by myself. Heh, sometimes I would get so angry whenever I lost a level I would bite the top of my 3ds. I ligit left dent marks. I’m getting a bunch of nostalgic vibes tho.
Bro, when I was super young I did the same thing with my DS Lite. When I had my first DS, (the first model) I rage quit so hard I actually snapped my DS in half. No joke. Since then I've had a DS Lite, a DSi, and now a 3DS which thankfully was the only one that isn't broken. Besides the stylus which doesn't extend anymore, and falls out of my 3DS
I lost my stylus a long time ago lol. It would fall out a lot too. *sigh* but I think we can both agree it gives nostalgic feels.

I think this one is much better than the home console games because there's a much clearer level design here, almost to the degree of the original. Plus the coin meter adds a bit of replayability to it, which is a great bonus.
