Ok so here’s an idea. Play 3 holes from the bottom of your bag and up. So putter then An iron then hybrid/fairway wood then finally putt with the driver.
You and mark play one hole relay style start at the hole putt to the fringe tee off towards the tee box and hit back toward the hole least strokes wins
If you have any friends who play, ask them if you can go to the driving range with them and hit some balls. They should be able to point you in the right direction and get your swing off the ground. Do this a few times. Next step would be getting your first set of clubs. Find some used game improvement irons and drivers and woods. Nothing fancy, because in a couple of years you’ll want to upgrade. Getting good at golf takes time and practice. I recommend playing or going to the range once a week. Don’t forget practicing chipping and putting. This will help you improve faster. Also, don’t be afraid to find a good instructor in your area. They’re a great tool to improve your game. Bonus would be join and men’s or women’s club in your area if you don’t have many people to play with. It’s a great way to meet people and play lots of golf. Remember to have fun, golfs about getting outside and having a good time!
