It’s like when ur trying to have a conversation with someone but u both just talk past each other and u feel weird but it’s too late to just leave so ur stuck with them until the awkward silence is long enough for u to find a shitty excuse and run
I’ve always thought (no offense) that brockhampton is not really good at interviews. It still looks a little bit uncomfortable for them to do but I really enjoyed hearing their perspective on fame, their goals, future of the group, their sound etc. I really hope they will stick together and be by each other’s side as long as it can be. They are super important to lots of people and they are doing an amazing job! I do think over time they will become one of the most influential groups. Sorry for the long comment
misguided ghost what does that even mean? Good at interviews? They’re just themselves, uncomfortable or not. Interviews are always extra burden to the artist anyway; as all they care about is the art and don’t really want to sit there talking about what others can find out on the internet.
Marty having public speaking skills is a real craft. They don’t have opportunities to show their social skills. They awk. They aren’t good at interviews. It’s simple to grasp lol this interview was was as fuck
Marty I agree interviews are an extra burden but also a part of job of any musician; it’s a soft skill. They are just themselves, okay, this is amazing but it doesn’t change the fact that they need to work on doing that type of stuff to make it less uncomfortable. It’s possible to be themselves and answer questions the way they like but to do it faster and smoother. Big group like bh should probably have some spokespersons (and practice as well) who will be ready to give answers without unnecessary pauses. I’ve seen these things in their previous interviews when no one knew what to say so it seemed pretty awkward.
@@Reminji Ah well NI is part of the UK not the Republic of Ireland so that's why they brought up Bearface when talking about a London influence in the music since NI would share a lot more culturally with the UK than with Ireland at this point.
You’d think with this many people involved in the band, there would be an endless amount of answers to the questions posed in these interviews. But instead they all sit there like this •____• (They’re the cutest though)
I feel like some of them are introverts (until they got on the stage, of course). But I reckon some of them just don’t feel like talking at times. Imagine them all talking over each other in the interview, it would just be overwhelming and too much. Sometimes people just can’t be bothered answering things, I know I can’t at times
you can tell kevin is the perfect leader for them because when they asked how far brockhampton could go everyone else said it's up to the people to decide how far to let them go, but he reminded them that it's actually how excellent they become and how much better they perform and record videos and make good content that's gonna put them to the top
Romil adds so much to these interviews. It's not like the others don't have an opinion, but Romil understands the group so extremely that he knows exactly the right words to say to convey everyone's ideas behind the questions. It's so hard to interview a group like them because there are so many of them and it's challenging to direct questions in a particular direction, which would honestly explain why their interviews seem to drag because no one wants to take the lead on anything.
I think smaller groups of brockhampton should be interviewed at a time, it will allow more of the members to speak and not waste the other members time
Does the interviewer not have a sense of humor or was he like forced to do this interview? Like damn, even when they told jokes and shit he was just waiting for them to stop lmao
The interviewer sucked! I don’t think he even listens to their music or knows anything about them. I mean he had to read their names of the paper he was looking down at. He made the interview awkward. I don’t think the boys were awkward at all, it was him. With his awkward laughs and shitty ass questions
LISTEN yall are so fucking powerful your god damn minds have so much magic in them, i am just grateful to hear the shit you make, grateful yall blew up, grateful yall went to bonaroo, like im just proud keep fucking killing it keep killin me, i cant wait to this confident piece of art in its entirety and see everything yall have in store, all the new creatives yall are gonna work with, im just so fucking ready to watch yall thrive and grow and evolve. yall fire, thanks for the shit, keep evolving and making whatever your heart says to make.
in the sway interview, sway was great at getting all of them involved, asking good questions, and generally creating a fun interview. can't say the same about this guy
Yall saying they all very awkward and quiet but like this feels exactly like a classroom with the teacher asking some questions and everyone waiting for someone to answer and just zoning out while someone talks
Nathaniel Zaccagnini Kevin has always looked up to Shia as an artists. They recently got to meet him and gain a friendship with him over the summer because of his group therapy type thing he does in LA

Gang Gang and like 2 words from matt
Featuring Matt Champion ad-libs
"Is the album done?"
Romil: "Is it done? *staring intently at Jabari* Is it done...?"

matt look like he just woke up from a nap
is Kiko locked in their basement or something? damn
I NEED ANSWERS KEV WHERE IS KIKO

He was in the If You Pray Right video
The way Roberto was seated made him look like a tiny head sprouting out of Dom and Romil’s shoulders and that had me rolling 🤣🤣
