They mention "That thing that happened a few months ago wasn't your fault" im pretty sure this scene is supposed to take place VERY VERY new into Spider-Man's career. My guess is that Peter isnt present cause he doesn't yet realize how awful being spider-man can be, He doesn't exactly understand how his life as spider-man can impact his life as Peter Parker another reason I think this is because Peter seems to not give a shit with MJ but as soon as she texts "We're done" he loses it (sort of) I think this is the catalyst where Peter realizes "Shit maybe this Spider-Man thing isnt that great after all"

I thought peter's behavior in and out of the costume was odd, and that there was an explanation for it. MJ even mentions something that has happened a couple of months ago before their date at the cafe, something implied to be spider-man related. I figure it might be addressed in a sequel if they make it, since the movie has "prelude" in the title.

I’m making a Spider-Man Noir fan film titled ‘RISE OF SPIDER-MAN NOIR’. It will come out on December 13 2024 and will follow Peter Parker getting revenge on Norman Osborn for killing Uncle Ben. It won’t be amazing but I think it will make a lot of Spider-Man Noir fans happy.

I definitely think you should keep doing these kinds of reviews. Doing suit reviews for fan films and then giving a brief review of the actual film really seems to fit here, you did it very well and I didn’t lose interest in either part.
