This club deserves to be in the Premier League, it has many fans, but the league will be very difficult this year.
Last seasons championship was harder imo. I doubt we will see another freak team like Ipswich this year, and Leicester, Southampton and Leeds were probably the best ever 3 relegated clubs
@@MenWithVen You are right, but it is difficult for teams to be relegated from the Premier League every year. Sunderland has 12 people in its field compared to other clubs, so the fans also have a big impact, I think the ranking will be as follows.

6. hull city
6 teams better than us imho (Burnley, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Watford, West Brom, Sheffield United) Beat them we go up. Beat most we get play offs
I think the Championship will be a lot easier this time. Just the Yo Yo teams down from the Premier League this time. No Leicester, no Southampton. This is the chance for Sunderland.

U can see Cirkin offside trapped him there for that Wednesday goal at 5:23. He steps back a metre and is immediately calling for offside without even looking behind himself

I have followed the club for 15 years. And now is the best time ever to follow the club. Not least because of KLD's and Speakman's shrewd long term focus. Like Brentford but better, because we are actually a real club with a passionate fan base. Hopefully Le Bris will go on to achieve great things and some of the more sceptical fans will be won over along the way.

@@tam8197 typical mag.. lurking on a sunderland page. One of the youngest and most promising squads in the country, most of whom are tied down to long term contracts and are happy at the club. Aside from a wobble and some terrible decisions at the top second hald of last season we've gone from strength to strength since KLD came in.

@@tam8197the only person who you have made look silly is yourself. There's no denying what Brentford have done is an amazing achievement. But there's also no denying that at its core it's a similar model I. E. Buy young players develop them and sell them on for profit. It's a model that has worked successfully for many teams and a similar model to what Sunderland are following as things stand. I fail to see how anyone other than you has embarrassed themselves tbh with your spiteful comment 🤷

Here is hoping that the fans do not get shafted in the last week of the transfer window. Does anyone really trust the owners not to leave the team in the lurch? Time to strengthen and build on a great start but I worry that in the higher echelons of the club leopards do not change their spots!
