@Amuranen It's damn similar to be honest. Yes the R stands for reverb and the new HT5C stands for 'Combo' as in 'Combo without reverb' and is effectively the non reverb version of the HT5R
Just bought the HT5R halfstack. From Andertons. Sounds incredible. Even my old Harmony H75 sounds different.
That emulated output sounds pretty awesome!
Dude is so f*n good on guitar. Love hearing him play!
getting better
The clean sounds great with that les paul!
Great sounding amp.
I love the Blackstar tonal range and despite not playing for 3.5yrs, I need an amp worthy of my unused 2015 Les Paul Standard. .. My 65watt - Line 6 Flextone, Line 6 - 15watt spider, Line 6 Pod II (see a pattern emerging?) Marshall 15watt Valvestate and my ... shhhh! .. berhinger 15watt 'modeler' ... are all making me play my Lezzer unplugged recently or not at all. .. To B - Blackstar H5r, Marshall DSL 5r or Fender Bassbreaker pro junior? ... that is the question dear Yoric. ... I mean Captain.
Marshall Valvestates are fine amplifiers. I had an AVT275 for a few years. .....but they don't compare to Blackstars.
@AndertonsMusic Alright cheers for the reply. Might just have to get one! Although my friend has the ministack for sale as well.. decisions decisions. :-)
How would this stack up against the original HT-5 combo soundwise? The speaker is different yes, but other then that? Reverb isn't an issue either obviously. R=Reverb, am I correct btw?
But it also depends on what you're looking for, vintage or modern, the type of music you play...
@roccckkerrr for higher gain, the marshall isnt usefull. you get a light crunch from it, not more. ht5 goes till kreator/testament sound.
@Amuranen the ht-5r has more gain and bottom end on the drive channel and the clean channel is alot better.
sounds cool but on some overdrive settings a bit muddy, are that the settings?
just bought one of these still trying to get the right sound etc played acoustic all my life jut got into electric ,
Awesome video
fuckin stoked on this one
Hi ! The solo you play at the end... Is the "rythm section" (i mean the background, don't know how to say i'm not english) from a real song, or is it just a backing track ?
Nice review anyway, thanks
Hey... where was the fan blowing on Rob when he was playing at the end? It's not the same...
My Mexican Standard Strat sounds very humming with it. Is it the problem with my Strat or this amp?
very nice
I like that song chaps :) And great drumming ...!
cant get the same sound as you guys yet
love the intro lol
Which is a good amp for clean stratocaster tones?
Reupload ?
This or the superchamp XD
Wich one is the best for the money
I play jimi hendrix to metallica to slayer to death
Wich one is the best
And wich one is the best for pedals?
VALVE!
soundwise alone this VS marshall class 5?
This vid looks quaint compared to their recent ones
i think that the isf is named the wrong way. the "us" sounds more marshally and the "uk" more mesa 0_o?
Bying this for thrash metal to play over drums? Worth?
Tiihonen I just bought it and if you want to play really sharp and heavy metals you should get a tube screamer or a distortion pedal with it. It'll sound very good on its own but the distortion is more for classic rock than for metal
i got a ENGL gigmaster 10"
Nobody can tell you that but your ears. Listen to different clips and decide for yourself.
Nnnnice !
sounds bad :(
Chappers :-(
