    Most of the Ots donot work efficiently with the kids they donot even aware the parents about the sensory diet .Then the parents have to take charge in their hand

      When you meet an Occupational therapist, they will guide you with a home plan as Sensory processing presents differently in different kids

    But what if we have not a good occupational therapist in our area to mentor us what is right for our kid. They do same activities with all kids.

    Hi Reena Mam, Thanks for Sharing the video about my question.Really appreciate it.
    We are under guidance of occupational therapist from the time he has been diagnosed.Currently he get intervention in school and we go for therapy session once in a week. Rest of the week we follow home program. We try to follow those activity in park which is part of program like monkey bar,liner moderate swing, balancing but animal walk, wheelbarrow, etc are also part of program .What I was looking for is doing relevant activities in park can compensate /alternate for daily home program activities?
    Thanks

    • @awetisminsights
      @awetisminsights  Год назад

      Yes, but with early intervention, a lot of kids get independent and some do not come under the criteria for Autism. But challenges may come up in sensory processing but many kids get better.
