Be careful...use a double fisherman..scaffold can be tied wrong end will slip to death fall.im pretty sure that's not a ansi knot.one should use a double fisherman or anchor hitch knot 2 wraps and 4 finger tail.that looks alot like doubke over hand used on rope bridges only with loop.
This is what is often called a double fisherman's, which is also the name of a common and useful bend knot to join two ropes. We should strive to call this knot by it's proper name, the scaffold knot, so as to avoid this confusion. This is absolutely a Z133 accepted cinching termination. The Anchor Bend Loop is also, but the tag end runs at 90 degrees to the knot. That's useful for a split tail climbing system, but it is inconvenient for a hitch climber or SRT system.
I was told this was the Poachers knot, used as a running loop that wont back out. Primarily used for snares. Nice strong knot though

@@lordaleksandre I always use anchor bend hitch.but un today's world just get a slpice it's 20 bucks.and far better fir ropes. Hand spice.
