Good idea on the Chicago hotel reservations. As I did in 2023, I reserved the Chicago Hyatt that is 1 mile away from the convention center. I’m a Hyatt Rewards member, and that hotel allows me to utilize my Rewards points - so I have all 4 nights for free. The Hyatt connected to the convention center won’t accept points. So it’s only a $5 Uber ride for me each day, and actually a pleasant walk unless it’s 100 degrees, or if I’m lugging a Zion case.
Skenes Pre-All-Star break: 6-0, 1.91 ERA. Post-All-Star break: 2-2, 2.66 ERA. I agree with you that the hype cycle was going to naturally drop his card prices some, even if he maintained his hot start. And yes he's been pitching "fine" as you say. But "fine" isn't nearly as exciting as his "out of this world" performance before the All-Star break. The drop in prices is also based on his performance in my opinion, not just the natural hype cycle drop off.

Good update on things , I've been a little distracted the last week or 2 with other things, so this was good to get the overview of what's happening. Looking forward to some football charts and graphs videos as we get closer. I have to say this is the most excited I've been for both n f l and college going into a season. So many good storylines and good young players to take interest in and of course, the expanded college playoff.
Doesn’t the Wemby $1M bounty seem like a ploy to get people to buy a crappy product? If there’s no bounty, wouldn’t it just sit on shelves unsold at some point…
