    I know this video is very old. But, so what. I just got this case today and was looking around for some examples before I tear down the old and start with something new. This video was EPIC to me. Not just the build but the editing and even b-roll stuff. Well thought out!
    I'm so happy I got this case. It's a behemoth though. Biggest I've ever had. I'm coming from the Cooler Master HAF case. I got it new and well, it's just time to move on.
    Thank you for this video! It was very encouraging. Because though I want to go liquid cooling I have reservations about it. Not that it'll leak. Just doing the right thing.
    Anyhoo, on to building!!!

    I've got the Core P8 currently in shipping, imagining the build i want to put into this case is giving me a headache, there is a lot of space to fill.
    Parts ordered so far include
    Ryzen 7 5800X
    B550 Aorus Master
    Aorus 850W PSU
    2TB Samsung Sata SSD
    1TB WD NVME drive
    Waiting on the 6800XT to drop, and still to decide on ram and a water loop.

      I have my core p8 here now like 2 weeks maybe already,
      Currently placed my motherboard Aorus x570 pro,
      2x 120mm rads at the rear with 2 fans,
      Currently waiting for my Alphacool stuff to arrive should be here in a few days hopefully,
      Includes another 4 rads a 480mm 2x 360 and a 240 for the bottom I didn’t want to take a chance and buy 3x 480 for the side top and bottom because of what the website shown with there diagrams etc, I have a thermaltake distro plate installed already a new 980pro m.2 ready for my C drive and a 5950x sat here boxed and my rtx 3090 which is in my current pc at the moment all have waterblocks just hope I can make it all fit + another 360mm res be tight I imagine and not much airflow but I’ll see how it turns out with the glass panels on or off

    Great build! However, he messed up his airflow. Heat rises and a larger case results in slower airflow from front to rear. I would've made bottom intake with the front intake to ensure the PSU and RAM received efficient cool air. Then do both rear exhaust to dissipate the warm air from PSU and Motherboard being blown from intake pass through. Then one top exhaust to remove the hot air since there was one slot left on the top front of case. Overall beautiful case! Thinking of upgrading from my thermaltake view 71 to this case!! Overall this guy did a great job and was well organized! 👍

    • @PhantomGP01
      @PhantomGP01 2 года назад

      @M Scion Just because it works doesn't mean it's optimum. The coolest air that's getting pulled into the case are getting pulled back out by the bottom fans.

    I’ve read some reviews and people are saying that’s the build quality is average or maybe a little below.
    I’m scared because I’m really looking forward to getting this amazing looking cast and start my build
    My specs ⬇️
    Core p8 case
    I9-10900k
    Asus rog strix z590e atx lga 1200
    Nzxt kraken z73 360mm
    Lian li infinity fans 17 of them
    Ram g-skill trident z royal 4x8 gb ddr4 3600mhz
    For storage I have m.2 2 980 pro 1tb each
    And a Seagate barracuda 2tb 7200 IHD
    Gpu asus rog strix 3060 oc 12gb
    Psu asus rog thor 1200
    Monitor is ether aw3821dw or aw3423dw
    Now what I’m confused about is since this is not a water cooled system people online said that I’m going to have a lot of trouble fitting the parts inside the pc
    Even on pc part pricker it said

    A
    Note: Fan compatibility checking is currently not supported.
    B
    Note: The Thermaltake Core P8 TG ATX Full Tower Case supports video cards up to 320mm long, but video cards over 280mm may block drive bays. Since the Asus ROG STRIX GAMING OC GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB Video Card is 300mm long, some drive bays may not be usable. The Thermaltake Core P8 TG ATX Full Tower Case hard drive bays are positioned where some of the bays may be physically blocked when using longer video cards.
    C
    Note: When the motherboard is not paired with a Rocket Lake-based CPU, M.2 slot M2_1 (M) is disabled.
    D
    Disclaimer: Some physical dimension constraints are currently not checked, such as CPU coolers and RAM clearance.”
    So if anyone knows anything about this please reach out to me because I’m a virgin in this category this is going to my first personal build.
    I used to have a another pc but that one was build by my cousin and he ripped me off since I didn’t know anything about it.
    And that shit broke lol
    So please hook a brother up
    Expecting a reply from you guys @thermaltake

    • @erikvasauez9361
      @erikvasauez9361 3 года назад

      @@ThermaltakeAustralia oooooh good to know, I’ll have to look into the cooling capacities of the p6 because the P8 fits 60mm rads which i would like to use for a 360 rad and then maybe do a thick 420 mm rad as well, so as long as it can fit 2 of those (MAYBE 3) it may be the case of choice when i redo my build.

    @Thermaltake Australia & New Zealand I'm a bit late to this party but if you were to use the P5 distro plate and therefore only a 360 radiator instead of a 480, would it still be sufficient to cool say a 3090 and overclocked cpu? or would you add a rad to the left side in where the three fans are and double up? Also, can you use the DP100-D5 distro plate that you used on the front (instead of the three fans there)? Seems to me that with the distro plate where you have it to drain or fill it you need to turn the entire chassis 90 degrees like you did, correct? I plan to wall mount so that would be a non-starter for me. Last, are the P5 distro plates going to be available again and if so when? Thanks in advance.

  • @PhantomGP01
    @PhantomGP01 2 года назад

    Did you intentionally face the fans the way you did? If so, why? I'm just trying to understand why you chose the bottom fans to be exhaust fans when heat rises, so the front and rear fan that are both clearly intake fans are bringing in warmer air on the top portion while the bottom portion of cooler air being pulled in is being pulled back out by the bottom fans, making warmer air exit through the radiator on the side.

    Мне вот интересно, когда "мега крутые сборщики топовых компьютеров" поймут, что нельзя в один водный контур соединять горячую видюху и горячий проц. У вас видюха будет греться под 60 градусов. И что, эта вода, уже нагретая до этой или близкой температуры, пойдёт на охлаждение процессора, который стоит следом в цепи? И как она заберёт у него тепло, если уже сама нагрета практически до такой же температуры? Топовая сборка, кастомное водяное охлаждение, огромный корпус и пожалели второй независимый контур. Ужас.

    I'm wondering when the "mega cool assemblers of top computers" will understand that it is impossible to connect a hot video card and a hot processor in one water circuit. Your video card will heat up at 60 degrees. And what, this water, already heated to this or close temperature, will be used to cool the processor, which is next in the chain? And how will she take heat away from him if she is already heated to almost the same temperature? Top build, custom water cooling, huge body and were greedy to add a second independent circuit. It's terrible.

    can anybody confirm if this case can fit an EK 480mm SE(slim) radiator in the bottom?

    • @ThermaltakeAustralia
      @ThermaltakeAustralia  3 года назад

      The Core P8 has been designed so you can fit a 240mm rad down the bottom and still have the ability to mount a pump/res, however, you could potentially fit a 360mm rad and move the pump mount further to the front of the case. I don't believe a 480 will fit though.

      Thermaltake Australia & New Zealand what if i mount the pump res combo on top of the bottom radiator? Then can i fit a 480 down the bottom?

    Can you turn Playsation 5 to be normal Computer ( windows 10 ) ,

      It cant be done, you cant install Windows on a ps5. Also The ps5 is game optimized, meaning it probably cant even run windows because the specs are kind of trash if they where to be converted into a pc.

      @@ThermaltakeAustralia It's just that most everyone needs an optical drive so to not include space for it smells like social engineering or something.
      We all have DVDs to watch. Operating systems and application software all come on optical disks.
      Then there's all the legacy games on my shelf. There's no way I could get by without an optical drive.

      How silly would it be to have to make space on my desk for a permanent, external drive when the mid-tower case has plenty of room for a traditional drive. That's pretty ridiculous, right?
