Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat "Lumina stands alongside The Room, Birdemic, and Manos: The Hand of Fate as one of the most jaw-droppingly awful motion pictures ever unleashed upon the public."
While these actors can only do so much with the budget and story plot they were given, it certainly seems like the poster is the only good thing about this movie.
Everyone talking are speaking from a bad place and none of you have seen the movie .. about 600 plus did in an early screening and the movie was amazing .. I rate it better than Nope and many did after they saw it
Behind The Lens / Debbie Lynn Elias* “The film's strong suit is the aliens. While looking more than a bit familiar to those in "Alien", they provide the jump scares and unspoken tension and fear, not to mention showing us where the budget went. Very well done.” “Two aspects of the film that are outstanding are cinematography and the visual effects/special effects.” “Love the post-production coloring and red tones that we get in the desert and that are carried down into the DUMB. Whoever the colorist was did a solid job on this one.” “The standout performance though comes from Ken Lawson. As George, he is beyond fun, energizes and elevates and genuinely once he appears on screen, you don't want to see him leave.” “Positively killer is the entire sequence with Eric Roberts as Thom. He is fabulous! His monologue is delicious as is his entire costuming look and the production design of the space he inhabits.”
Overly Honest Movie Reviews / Chris Jones “I won't lie; that poster sold me! I'd love to check this out!” “Despite the challenges of shooting during a global pandemic, Mckoy's directorial style is evident. His fascination with alien abduction lends an authentic voice to the narrative, addressing the stigmatization and skepticism abductees face with a unique insight.” “LUMINA maintains suspense and provokes thought, questioning our place in the universe and the possibility of other sentient beings. The film’s visual storytelling, bolstered by striking scenic designs and special effects, immerses the audience in a meticulously crafted world.” “LUMINA stands as a compelling testament to the potential of science fiction to blend speculative elements with poignant human stories.”
I love when trailers sound like they're being played through an aquarium.

Short Redhead Reel Reviews / Wendy Shadewald
