Acrylic pour Painting - Swirl technique with five colors
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 фев 2019
- Acrylic pour painting with the Swirl technique. A simple pouring technique where even beginners can achieve beautiful results.
You do not need silicone here. What I always pay attention to is the cup from the light to the dark color to layers, because then when pouring the light color finally comes out of the cup.
Just try it out and enjoy the Pouring as always.

If you like the video, here is the double swirl: ruclips.net/video/1SAbk_DgnDA/видео.html
How could I dislike this!!!!? It's perfect!
Was water added to the acrylic to make it pour better?
Before starting the acrylic paint on canvas what do we apply on canvas? Please reply.m the begginer
The acrylic paint has been diluted with water and Pouring Medium. Look in the video description of the double Swirl. I wrote more there.
@Muhammad Ashas I prime the canvas with Pouring Medium. but you can also paint them with acrylic paint.

Anyone from safiyas new vid?
yes
When you first started to pour the colors in the cup I thought they were ugly together, but then as soon as it hit the canvas it totally blew my mind how they look so good together. Nice pour...
I wish you'd show an image of the art after it completely dried.
Sometimes I do that. See the last two pictures: ruclips.net/video/sb47p3bTIgg/видео.html or ruclips.net/video/h1-x6eqJcaQ/видео.html
Often these paintings dry fairly ugly, so many don't show the final result.
@@finitesound That was my suspicion. I assume a lot of cracking occurs.
image of the art :) This is not art.
@@petar1008 Art is a subjective matter, I agree, but by definition it qualifies as "art."

Who's here because of safiya?
@I am overdosing ketamine her full name is Safya Nygaard. I know some of you may be annoyed at the people here all from safiya, but think of it this way- tiktus now has all of safiyas viewers watching him because they saw him featured in her video- so more exposure i guess?? a great youtuber imo, if you like tiktus you should watch her pour art video. i like her- she is funny, has great chemistry with her partner tyler, smart (her vocabulary is actually insane), and her voice is so soothing and unique, Her videos are very highly-edited and you can tell after watching a few that she puts a lot of effort into them. Her channel is basically the definition of "quality over quantity". Shes one of my favorite youtubers so she may be your cup of tea but idk lol.
edit: if you were to watch just a few of her videos just to see who she is if you are curious, i would say watch her bath and body works candle video, her wedding cake video, her lolita fashion makeover, her japanese vending machine video, her mcdonalds wedding video, her makeup organization video, or her pod-hotel video, because those are some of my favorites of hers. Thats what i would recommend if you were to watch a couple of her videos.
She also got married last year, and thats another favorite video of mine. it was really sweet and she has a whole wedding video thats different to most wedding videos, which is cool. You don't have to watch her and i dont want to force you, but I would really give it a go. Her videos have such a range, you are bound to be interested in one of them.
Congratulations on being featured in Safiyas video!

Why is your profile the DuckDuckGo Icon?
I realised one possibility when I saw the Udemy art course ad following the video. Since Udemy probably started an ad campaign, videos that matched their ad subject keywords got promoted and so now, everyone is suddenly seeing art related videos and channels with such videos get more views and hopefully subscriptions. Even the channel owner might be surprised. Just a guess, but considering that youtube is free, they have to try to make money on every video they show.

So this is how Jupiter was made?
Yep...God had fun , that day!!
I was thinking about geology. It does make you think!
Yes
No. The Formation of Jupiter took shape when the rest of the solar system formed about 4.5 billion years ago, when gravity pulled swirling gas and dust in to become this gas giant. ... About 4 billion years ago, Jupiter settled into its current position in the outer solar system, where it is the fifth planet from the Sun.
The core accretion model. Artist's conception of our solar system's solar nebula, the cloud of gas and dust from which the planets formed. ... But farther away, the solar winds had less impact on lighter elements, allowing them to coalesce into gas giants. In this way, asteroids, comets, planets, and moons were created.
Composed predominantly of hydrogen and helium, the massive Jupiter is much like a tiny star. But despite the fact that it is the largest planet in the solar system, the gas giant just doesn't have the mass needed to push it into stellar status. When scientists call Jupiter a gas giant, they aren't exaggerating.
They are made up of small bits of dust. The Galileo spacecraft helped us discover where that dust comes from. Meteors striking the surface of Jupiter's small, inner moons kick up dust which then goes into orbit around Jupiter, forming the rings.
In the thermosphere, temperatures continue to rise, eventually reaching 1000 K at about 1000 km, where pressure is about 1 nbar. Jupiter's troposphere contains a complicated cloud structure. The upper clouds, located in the pressure range 0.6-0.9 bar, are made of ammonia ice.

I thought of something that will make this even prettier. Maybe not in this color form, but make one as a background and once it dries, add shadowy trees and make a mixture of abstract and realism together. Like an abstract sky and sunset. The trees will make the painting pop even more.
Maybe not it will become too literal.
Cool. Reminds me of tree rings (box elder can get vibrant colors like this) or turkey tail mushroom. Really thought the green was going to disappear altogether, but then it stretched nicely in the end. Nice! I'll have to give this technique a shot! :)
Love it! Thanks for creating ✨

Also you should have put a canvas underneath it, so that the dripping will stop going on the table and also you can have another painting! Double painting *LOL*
We are grateful for your talents in poured painting! Artists the world over should be recognized for the incredible talent and dedication they put into creating such beautiful pieces of artwork! The world has a lot more to offer us today than just war and destruction. We have art in abundance and the strength of abstraction to inspire us to do better in our lives. I hope that we can continue to inspire future generations to excellence in creative art and creativity in thinking as we continue our journey towards the future for the greater good of mankind! Your contributions point us in that direction! ❤

I attempted my first acrylic pour last night. Was very pleased with the outcome, and let it set to dry over night. When I woke up this morning I noticed some cracks in my painting. It still looks great, and adds texture to the painting, but I'm curious to know what caused the cracks. Could it be because of the temperature in the room last night? One painting cracked more than the other 2. I've also noticed the cracks allowed the gold paint to be more noticeable. Could it be the metalic gold that caused the cracks to appear?
this can be the result of too much acrylic on very thin paper
Very old or very cheap/ poor quality acrylic could cause this. It could also have something to do with how dry the air is. Cheaper acrylic cracks easily just in general so there could be a lot of possible factors.
If you have HQ paint then I have no idea besides maybe the air moisture ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And as the person above said if you didn’t do this on a canvas that could definitely be why.
Thanks Cam and Sam.
I suspect stretched acrylic so a cheap variety containing more filler than pigment. Try it with artist acrylic paints that are a bit higher quality.
When I do these types of pours and use a lot of paint, I will come back the next morning and there will be cracks where the paint was to thick. To fix this I let paint run off the sides and make sure it’s not to thick and that it’s evenly spread out, hope this helps.
I really want to see your piece now
