I was about to say that Slippy’s voice didn’t fit, but then I remember that in the SNES Star Fox game, the way he “talked”, he ribbits with a deep voice. It honestly made me laugh because it does suit him and shows that he’s youngest of the team. So props to Slippy’s VA.
I heard there is a Fan Comic still out there where they do Cross over. If I remember part of the Plot is The Toads try to take over Venom thinking it will be easy but made the mistake of crossing Andross
Once again everyone did such an amazing job with their voice acting performances! I like to give a special shoutout to Thea Solone as Fara Phoenix and G. Kerber as General Pepper who made a fantastic debut in this video and really captured the spirits of the original video game characters! Thea voiced her lines phenomenally giving Fara a wonderful voice and a fun personality and funny enough when I heard General Pepper I almost mistaken him for the original voice actor it was that good! Also thanks for taking out those frigates, they were really SLICING through our tanks lol!

I was wondering why the Venom forces would land on the be beaches, Normandy style. Then I realized there would be fewer anti-aerospace defenses over the oceans, making them an ideal dropping point dor an orbital invasion.
Having never seen the original version of Corneria, I'm being introduced to it for the first time. And I gotta say, you've done an incredible job of bringing it to life! First of all, the chatter from the defense forces as they discuss things like civilian evacuation really make it clear that Corneria is the Lylat System's CAPITAL -- that there are innocent lives being caught in the crossfire, and that such an assault on a civilian center by Venom's forces is proof that, for whatever their flaws, the Cornerians ARE the good guys in the conflict. I know Star Fox Assault and Zero gave us glimpses of urban areas, but this might be the first time we see Corneria as a civilian center -- not just a series of canyons and buildings to be flown past en route to the Attack Carrier. Then, of course, there's the voice acting -- compared to the previous efforts, like the opening stage in Corneria's orbit and Fox's phone call with Andross, the dialogue between characters sounds MUCH more natural, with many of the canon characters sounding much like you'd expect them to from previous adventures. Even when there's changes, like with Slippy's voice, they tend to be improvements upon the original. Falco sounds like he's cocky, as usual, and whoever you chose for Peppy is doing the memory of his original voice actor proud. Superb work, all across the board!
The briefing screen at the end was a nice surprise. Though it looks unfinished so far, I really like the idea of Fox, Peppy, or General Pepper explaining the mission briefings before the actual start of said missions like in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron.
The voice acting is incredible, some voicelines need some polish and some radio static effect for the authentic experiece but for a fan project its amazing! And the new storyline adding bits of every game in the franchise including some obscure characters is simply the best, and shows the passion and understanding of the game's history. Looking foward to this project's completion, cant wait.
The more progress I see on this project the happier I get. I think one thing Star Fox games have been missing is unlockables. It'd be cool to finally see ship skin variants based on kill count thresholds per planet (Wolfen for starters), or weapon unlockables that change the style of your weapon fire. Something new to add to the Linear Galaxy staple formula. Keep up the excellent work!
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. The voice actors all did phenomenal and I love seeing more active large ships in StarFox. I also appreciate the “little things” that flesh out the universe like naming the enemy officers and calling the warp engines Zypher drives. I really liked that last touch since it’s a callback to my favorite StarFox Game, Assault. Speaking of callbacks, I’m glad you’re also referencing Star Fox Zero with things like the Aquarossas in the background and the Cornerian tanks being from SF0. Don’t want this to get too long, however, I have to mention the designs themselves. The Venomian armor is very intimidating and I love y’alls rendition of the Attack Carrier. Looking forward to seeing (any maybe playing next time Freespace II goes on sale) this game!
I had been waiting to hear some voice lines from Fara and I was not disappointed, Thea did an awesome job and I can't wait to hear more. Also serious props to Alex for voicing Karog, he sounds just like the actor from Star Fox 64. I don't think you could have gotten anyone better for that role.

This is what I've always wanted from a star fox game, a massive battle raging in the background as you fight. The closes thing we got to that in the real games was stuff like sector B mission

Got to say, as a long time fan of Star Fox, it's amazing to see this project come so far as is, in addition to having Estelle and now Jock reprise their respective roles. Looks like fans of this franchise are bringing in their own renaissance era and it warms my childhood self's heart. Keep it up!

This is proper Starfox, doesn't even look or sound like a mod. Gameplay looks very smooth. Also the soundtrack is great, really fits. I really like the charged shot animation, looks great

i just recently discovered this project yesterday and was quite impressed with what i saw. though just to be critical, some of the voices in this video kinda blew the wind out of my sales, so to speak. while there are some great lines delivered by most of the starfox team, Pepper, Fara and Karog, the voice lines for the Cornerian Captain of the Frigate Goddard, the Cornarian Army Leader seemed a bit too over the top and voices for Colonel Shears, Bandit and Stingray Pilots seemed to miss the mark either because they sounded too dramatic or phoned in. On a positive note, this gameplay looks great. i'm really digging the "Ace Combat" style of open world combat and story telling through coms and briefings. not bad for an indie project
Amazing work as always - wonder in a future update the textures on the water could be improved looks more like a giant Tron Grid then water. Other then that looks Stunning!
I've been watching this project for a bit, and I have to say, I love it. I do think, that if the 64 portion of this fan remake is a mix of 1, 64 and Zero, not having the Granga Mech show up in atleast some form in this stage is a bit of a shame, as its likely the boss most first time 64 players get.
I love the Voice work Alot, Even Slip sounds Awesome not being having that more Childish voice he used to, though I wouldn't mind that coming back either. But Out of All the Voices the Falco just ain't as Zesty as he usually would be, ya just can't feel that Brash Spicy Flare behind his Cadence and Tone when speaking maybe it's the lack of the almost new york-ish accent. No knocks against the Voice Actor, just Falco has and likely will always be my Favorite character Hell they were my Role Model as a Cocky Pilot type myself for a long time and it just feels so odd hearing him sound so Tame here. But Personal Opinions on voicing Aside THIS GAME LOOKS FUN AS FECK! Why the Hell hasn't Nintendo given us anything This Compelling and Action Packed?!
Not my favorite one, to be honest. I highly doubt Bucky would just straight up murder Slippy like that, just because he's a toad. Plus, they seem to foolishly believe the hoax about Fox and his crew having metal legs. But I guess that shouldn't come as a surprise, seeing how much they got wrong about Erza Scarlet and used all that misinformation against her, while completely ignoring most of her greatest feats, making her look much less competent than she actually is.
i would make my own army faction i would call the green dragon nation a nation of anthro dragons with very advance tech like sun light weapons that they use a magic based light weapon made from the sun

Given everyone's deliveries are all slightly exaggerated (as one would expect from star fox), it feels weird how flat the Bandit, Stingray and Venom pilots sound. They almost sound more bored, even when they are going down in a combusting ship. It stands a bit out, I know they're probably not professionals, but still.
man I wish I could do some voice acting on this game. I'm just a very shy guy when it comes to wanting to try it out. That and Starfox has always been one of my favorite games.
