I have been in the u.s.a for 20years, I am a 52year old englishwoman, and watching the coverage of the marvelous parades, and changing of the guard, and the absolutely wonderful grace and dignity with which the queen graces her adoring public, makes me so Very very proud of our Royal family. This is part of what makes England great.....I may be an American legal alien with a green card, because one day I will go back home...(I do love Americans too though!)

You've seen the evolution of Facebook, advanced tech, Social media, and the whole journey from black and white to the colorful pictures. I am not British and all my life I have loved and adored the Queen and the royal family .I reside in'the US but was born and raised in the Caribbean .We used the old pound shilling and pence.Our govern general Sir Campbell represented the Queen in our country 98 percent of our streets has British Streets names.We also have3 counties Cornwall Middlesex and Surrey etc etc So I grew up with the bond.Every morning at 8 when mi mother was combing my hair for school the BBC news would be on.I do have lots of childhood happy memories of a past life.
I'm an American but I don't want to hear anybody badmouth Queen Elizabeth II! She is absolutely marvelous and has done her country proud and carries on endlessly in service that at her age she could easily get out of. She sees it as her duty and does it beautifully. My middle name is hers as she became Queen about the time I was born and I'm very proud to carry the name of such a noble lady!! Even her great grandmother Queen Victoria basically just disappeared into her castle after Prince Albert died and became an absentee monarch. Queen Elizabeth II deserves all the accolades of the Jubilee and it must have been quite an ordeal of a day but she was totally gracious about it!
Respect for her but during her monarchy she didn't stop the abuse of young boys in all organisation especially in boarding school. The beatings and rape endured by hundreds of young boys unacceptable.
