I agree more so with Starr. To me Homelander represents the dark side of any US Authority Figure. Sure, there are the Trump comparisons, but imo I also see elements of Biden, Obama, both Bush's and heck, even a tiny bit of Clinton and Reagan as well.
It’s mostly Obama and Biden. Insanity and darkness.
