is it just me or does the sound design seem off on broly specifically
meme grunts aside, his footstep sounds dont seem to be timed properly to the animation and i dont think thats like audio desync in the video or anything
his sound effects also seem generally way louder than other raiders, and also... drier? Like in the audio sense, there's not much 'wet' (basically reverb) to his sounds, which also makes it feel less diagetic, like the sounds are being played by the camera instead of caused by something in the game world.
All the raiders have some non-diagetic sound effects ofc (their voicelines, for one, are obviously not affected by their distance from the camera) but for Broly it sounds like his entire soundscape is edited into the game footage in post, yknow what i mean?
am i just a crackhead or is this something other people notice too
