S carolina knocking out tenn and clemson in back to back weeks was incredible
As a Tenn fan, I predicted that back in September. I told my friends that we couldn't sleep on SC, they always play hard and scrappy against us. But our defense clearly wanted to throw a fit, and we all payed for it, including Hooker. But yes, I did enjoy seeing them take Clemson down a peg the following week. Made our loss more sweet and less bitter.

As a LSU fan this season was a emotional rollercoaster. From early disappointments to a mid season surge to then fall in the end to A&M and show glimpses against Georgia that could have went a different way had some weird early game things hasn’t happened. Anyways a great year for us and looking forward to the future

Well I'm a Dawgs fan and as mush as I Don't like USC and like Utah because my dad is a fan..... I really needed USC to win. But deep down I didn't think that was gonna happen. (because that Utah team is designed to beat USC) I like Ohio State though because one of my teachers is a fan. I was talking with him about how if USC won then it would be Washington vs. Ohio State in the rose bowl. He liked that but I understand that he would rather them be in the CFP. Now Washington will host Texas for the Valero Alamo Bowl.

Seeing Alabama in the bleachers of the CFP is beautiful. And props to South Carolina for dispatching both Tenn *and* Clemson. Though I have to say, seeing USC playing on their home field get pile-driven by Utah to finally crush the incessant media hype train hoping USC would make it to the championship game at Los Angels Stadium is probably my favorite of the year. Getting to see two of four schools, none of which reside within a thousand miles of LA, play for the championship is beautiful.
@Bryce i think the matchups this year are more interesting and will be closer than the previous semi finals. My Buckeyes are definitely underdogs, but USC would have been 15-20 point underdogs against UGA, and the Michigan vs TCU game seems destined to go down to the wire the way those teams play
Keep saying that until Saban retires and Kirby Smart & Ga turn into the new Alabama for the next 15-20 years you're just replacing a dynasty with a new dynasty of another Red, overpowered SEC team

Honestly as a Tenn fan, im happy about the outcome. I much prefer our team go head to head against Clemson, should make for a good game. We didn't have the depth to go all the way this year. but next year we will be back with a vengeance

Washington fan here. Robbed of Rose Bowl from the outcome of the two teams in the Pac12 we didn’t play at all this year. I’m just happy that Alabama isn’t in… was hoping USC would make it.

I'm a Tennessee fan and losing to S.Carolina sucked but we had an awesome season. It was fun to watch Tennessee football again. Lots of awesome memories from this year with beating Bama being my favorite. Gotta hand it to SC and Beamer though. Played a great game and TN defense wasn't even trying. SC was never a bad team and Rattler isn't a bad qb, just hadnt put it all together until that point so gg to them.

0:01 I went to this game; at the start of the 2nd, I was like “Why did we go to this game; we went to the Tennessee/LSU game and watched us get blown out at home. It’s gonna be another blowout.” But LSU pulled it off in the 2nd half. And I’m so happy we beat Bama!!!🥳 We don’t talk about the Texas A&M game; that is all coaching. Don’t blame it on the players. And the SEC Championship we weren’t gonna win anyway. But when we play like we are, Georgia got all the luck. I’m just happy we went 9-4 and to a Conference Championship instead of being 6-7. GEAUX TIGERS 🐯
@Bryce I know. Even if we finished 10-2, Georgia would’ve blown us out the way we did, STILL keeping us from the playoffs. So it didn’t matter. (Trying not to get your point because if I do, I’m not gonna forget the terrible Saturday night watching that game).

All in all as a georgia fan the unsung heroes have to be LSU and South carolina
South Carolina is the type of team to play insane against great teams and play like shit against bad teams. I don’t know how they do it but it’s astounding just like mizzou being the only team last season to stand up to Georgia. Besides the buckeyes ofc but I’m not counting play offs.

Clemson and USC were two teams a lot of us knew didn't belong in the playoffs but people (especially the comittee) love to hang their hat on their resumés. Welp, that's why you don't rely on resumés.
Clemson was unlikely to get in before they lost to SCAR. They were down at 7 or 8 or even 9 before that game. UNC was never going to get in if they won out.
