Just want to spend a minute and thank you. I am from Illinois. Passed my national yesterday. Missed my State by three questions. Taking my State this upcoming Friday again. Planning on watching all your state of Illinois videos, and hopefully that pushed me over the edge. Just want to thank you again for spending time and helping others 😊 Anyone reading my comment that is looking for advice. If you are from Illinois . stay to state of Illinois videos only. They have a lot of national content in there, but I was starting to watch other national videos and then getting conflicting information and confusing myself. I don’t learn by reading a paragraph. I am a very hands-on or watch videos to learn person
@@GarageFanatic you're the rockstar!!! You put in the work! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 What's one tip you can share with someone in the process of preparing to that the exam?
Well, I am a very hands-on and video learner. My reading comprehension is not that great so the class wasn’t that helpful for me. I started watching lots of RUclips videos, but I quickly found out that there’s a lot of information that doesn’t apply to us in Illinois. And there’s so much to learn. try to narrow it down to Illinois videos only and national videos only. Also vocabulary videos. My second tip would be don’t be afraid to go take the test and fail. Prepare as much as you can and give it your best shot and try to make your goal to pass at least one of the two tests. it’s a lot of information to prepare for. So if you fail one of them, that is OK, now you have a smaller piece of the pie to narrow down and study on. Which for me was these videos. Another thing I noticed is there’s a lot of practice questions on RUclips that actually just confused me more. I feel like some channels are just trying to get views and make up questions. So what I recommend is try to understand the material the best you can, and concentrate on the practice test from your class and the questions after each chapter. If you could comprehend all that stuff, you have a great shot at passing along with watching the videos. I hope this helps somebody. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
I’ve taken this test a few times and i keep failing it today by 4 points 26 out 30 to pass in so upset this video did help but those laws and rules keep getting the best of me I’m so ready to quit
Don't quit yet. Know that there are usually 2 answers that a correct but 1 is better, the better answer is what you want. Always choose the BEST answer. You may also be overthinking the question. Do some more practice questions and ALWAYS go over the answers, including those you got right. Know why an answer is correct and another isn't. Notice any patterns about yourself that you need to correct (for example, you didn't read the question correctly and missed a word). Learn from it and look out for it the next time you take a practice test. It's more mental than knowledge. Hope this helps
@@realestatetutoress do you have one specific to laws and rules regulating real estate practice besides the state specific i scored 10 out of 20 on that section seems like that is where I’m missing something
Passed first try on national but state first time got a 27 then a week later I studied and got a 29 and needed a 30 to pass.tmr is my 3rd attempted hopefully I pass I feel like I need to know specifics at this point and I’m scareddd
Hey, it's normal to be scared. However, I'll recommend you channel the fear to study and then when you're about to test, remind yourself that you're prepared so there's no need to be afraid. It's a very mental exam... Hang in there and stay positive. You got this!
There was a question where it said who needs written consent: For Sale sign, CMA , lock box and I forgot the last one but it was hard for me to decide between for sale sign or lock box 🥺
I would need to see the complete question and how the options are worded. But, based on what you typed, it's most likely the for sale sign. Advertising a seller's property needs the seller's written permission
Great question! Although the videos are geared towards the broker license, the material is the same for the managing broker exam. I used the same book when I studied for it. Focus more on the managerial duties. In the candidate handbook, look for the MB specific topics. Let me know if you have additional questions
For the scenario based questions on the psi candidate handbook, is there an explanation on the answer for question B? I hope I'm not forgetting a concept I should know.
Hi there, Thanks a lot for providing valuable information,I have a question about escrow account, does sponsoring broker has to maintain a separate escrow account for each real estate transaction? Or can they have one account can can deposit all the deposits into one escrow account?
Hi, great question. They can maintain just one escrow account for all the monies or multiple if they have a large client base. They also could choose not to hold escrow funds either, it's not required.
Hi I was wondering when you said the referral fee for non licensed people in a one year period must not exceed $5000 however in my books I’m reading $1000, did a law change?
Yes, it used to be $1,000 but the law changed in 2019 since rents have increased so much. Some books didn't update it sooner. If you're ever in doubt, check the licensing law and that will have the most accurate information
I have some specific questions from the exam I would like to ask bc I don’t think I have came across it in our books but it has ask me this same question these last exams I have failed. I am not confident when answering it, am I able to ask you in the comments? It has to do with state portion.
