Banging video as always, you're doing a stellar job. Always watching from here in Slovakia, happy to have left the UK some 30 odd years ago. The beer here is great,.....life also.

With unemployment going ballistic in Gorton and the surrounding area, Kaufman brought in no new investment or even government funding. The town turned into a cesspit. It was only helped when EU grants started the flood in towards the late 90s. Goton was once a very working mans town. Thatcher's government destroyed all that.

Bangin Cermetary
One of the cleverest people I ever met at work in Ashton Under Lyne came from Abbey Hey. But he did low level admin jobs when he could have done a lot better for himself. Bit of a mystery. Abbey Hey was the last place you'd think he was from.
did you ever go in The Gransmoor? My auntie used to live on Bowness Street
I used to live on schools road in Abbey Hey many years ago 😊
Horton is a lovely cemetery kept clean it’s beautiful to walk around in the summer

People knock Gorton but Gorton Market was pretty good in AHA!
