    Great voice Geoff, the best bass, personal opinion, very good in making high quality videos and, above all, in the arrangement of the songs, excellent TI review, greetings Massimo

    Daddy Sang Bass, and Take Me Home, Country Roads are both worthy contenders.

    If you thought there were words in there you hadn't heard before you'd be right, because Geoff added the bridge section himself. One thing that struck me: When the other Geoffs sang "he has no friends to help him now" did they have to look so pleased about it." LOL No he should not stick to country songs. He appeals to a much wider audience than that.

    • @RadioTeo
      @RadioTeo  Год назад

      what do you mean by bridge section, Karen mentioned that below too.

    • @christinestromberg4057
      @christinestromberg4057 Год назад +2

      @@RadioTeo A bridge is a section that is different from the tune and style of the verses. The song does not have such a section as written originally but Geoff added one. In many songs, the style will be verse, 1 verse, 2 bridge, verse 3 . This song has five verses so he added a bridge section after the third verse., then went back to the original song for the last two verses. I hope that makes it clear.

      @@christinestromberg4057 so basically he added some lyrics is that it?

    • @christinestromberg4057

      @@RadioTeo Well the lyrics and melody for that section, yes. With harmonies of course.

      @@RadioTeo everything from "take me to the water" to "ghosts within my head" is not part of the original song. Geoff wrote it.

    Interesting. …. A little fast for the subject, Sort of gimmicky to show off a, somewhat muddy bass.
    The song is an old folk song, from around 1910. It was then called “The Goodbye Song” or “The Farewell Song “. It is the song of a slave about to flee for freedom, reflecting on all he is leaving behind. A sad song, yet full of the anticipation of being free.
    The home Free version is truer to the original, more somber tone of the song. Tim Foust’s voice can easily reach those lows, and lower, without using a forced growl,Not to say Jeff’s voice doesn’t go low, just that it isn’t very melodic in his effort.
    The added extra lyrics were a good addition, however, better covers of this song are out their. Knowing what the song is about, perhaps you should give Home Free’s version a look.
