I always initially think like “what’s so special about the roxxy reveal, she just takes her wig off” and then I have to remind myself that she CREATED reveals in that moment. It’s super basic now, but she solidified herself in drag history with it.

First one to do it on the show. Everybody took their wigs off andit was just their natural hair. Roxxxy gagged us all with that wig reveal and I wish I could forget it so I can see it again!
I love that Michelle is a judge but she's a fan of the show first and foremost. She loves the queens and it shows. They may call Ru mama, but Michelle is the true mama. Yes, she's harsh at times and I don't always agree with her opinion but I can't imagine Drag Race without her.
Michelle is the mother of the family and Ru is the distant father. They both love you but Michelle is in the trenches with the children whereas RuPaul is always a bit distant and out of reach doing the work.

I loved that one but it's just not n°1 because the princess wasn't on pair with Dida. And I think that's where amazing lipsyncs start to go down because one of them did so good but the other did just good or did bad.
To me Alyssa vs Tatianna was the best one just because both of them did amazing and add that they looked similar and the song was a perfect choice for them too.
Michelle knows her herstory I love her she is such a smart caring person.

I couldn’t picture a RPDR Season without her, she’s so savage and amazing, I really love her.

I loved Merle but she didn't know shit about drag we could see that back in her seasons when she said shits like "it's too much" or "the make up and the contour is heavy" or "she doesn't give me a woman illusion, she looks like a creature not a woman" guuurl if she was still here it could've been problematic for legendary queens like Sharon Needles or Trixie, or Yvie Oddly .... while Michel can understand this kind of drag

And for exemple she always said to Bob to make an effort in being glamour on her style and make up and look who won season 8, she gave critics to everybody Bianca, Sharon,Yvie ... she even gave critics to the most fashion queens like Raja,Violet or Aquaria ... she never read them through a precise standart of drag that you can find in the pageant comptetions or the vogue ball room, she just helps them to be the best on their own nich ! I mean reading a queen is not everytime being shady, a drag mother always reads her drag daughter not to be petty but just to step up her game !

I like Michelle's honesty because she is open and gives criticism so that the queens can improve.
I would love if every queen gete constructive critism before getting called 'safe'. It would help them understand what they were doing sufficiently but what needs to be more in order to win.
The queens need to stand for hours in heels and corsets on the main stage as it is.. Plus they wouldn't be able to squeeze in 12 sets of individual critiques to the airtime🤔 So I think it's a time issue, I'm pretty sure they start giving critiques to safe queens when the season gets closer to the finale

I have a lot of love for season 3 as well, Michelle came as judge, the top 3 was everything where each queen had 3 wins, the last season that required queens to actually craft their stuff (correct me if I'm wrong with this one), and it was my first season ever of RPDR. I still love to this day that money dress Raja brought to the Money Ball Challenge

My Summer 2020 binge is DragRace starting at season 1...I struggled through season 1 and 2 before Michelle became a judge. I'm not entirely sure I would have started watching if I had actually started at season 1, but I had just finished season 12, and was in the middle of All Stars, so I stuck it out. Then Michelle showed up, thank goodness! I think she's harsh, but she's constructive, funny, and complimentary when necessary.

I met Michelle after a show at L'Olympia in Montreal....she was one of the sweetest, most soft-spoken, gentle people I've met. It was kind of weird, very nice, but weird. I was waiting for some loud-mouth wannabe-drag-queen to rip me apart with a one-liner. Instead, I met a pretty terrific woman. Plus, her eyes! OMG - they're incredible.

At the end of the day she has a job, Not just to be a judge but to make compelling television and she is absolutely a part of the shows long running success, while I don't agree intention is the only thing that matters, the queens that sign up to be on a reality competition show, while entitled to their feelings, need to understand its a competition, its not meant to be easy, she has to do her job. She's not there to coddle she is there to critique.
