    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ectogenesis (from the Greek ecto, "outer," and genesis) is the growth of an organism in an artificial environment[1] outside the body in which it would normally be found, such as the growth of an embryo or fetus outside the mother's body, or the growth of bacteria outside the body of a host.[2] The term was coined by British scientist J.B.S. Haldane in 1924.[3][4]

    • @AllofJudea

+GRiMHOLD No, he used his Ibanez prototype for the whole set (save for P.E where he used his Strandberg and The Brain Dance where he used his 6 string Carvin acoustic-electric. To be honest - and maybe it's 'cause I heard the live version before hearing the album version - but it sounds so much better live and the nuances of every thump just cuts through the mix effortlessly without drowning the other parts out.

I'd agree on terms of technical skills. But my opinion is that melodically speaking Affinity by Haken was just out of this world.
P.S. It's just an opinion and I don't intend to start a war amongst prog fans.

Dissociation by Dillinger Escape Plan is tied or a very close second. Followed by The Violent Sleep of Reason by Meshuggah. 2016 was a great year for music
