If using digital ticket for romace car, I've already got the hakone freepass. Do i have to change or print the ticket in the station? Or just show the ticket to the officer

Hi, I wonder if you found the answer to this as this is exactly my question too regarding a digital romancecar ticket and hakone freepass.

I bought tickets online for the romance car from shinjuku to hakone. and selected seats.
we are staying in hakone over night and going to Kyoto after so we do not need round trip tickets back to shinjuku.
Is there another ticket I need to buy besides the hakone free pass?

Hey, I am doing exactly the same and I think the free pass isn't worth it if we are heading to Kyoto

Since kamakura is next to’ Hakone, I plan to go to kamakura after leaving Hakone. How do I take the train?

if I already purchased a freepass to hakone in advanced and want to ride the romacecar, would I ask them to upgrade for me?

Seems like the only 2 carriages that have nice views in the romance car are the first and last carriages? For the last carriage, are the seats turned to face the back instead of the front?

The back observation seats run four rows from the rearmost row facing the rear direction. Underrated spot and highly recommended;)
