I did a different 'magical' thing with Enoshima today: First train out of Tokyo, arrived in Fujisawa 6:08 and from there I ran (about 5K) and then hiked up and down the same streets / places. But it was incredibly quiet, peaceful, just a few people, nothing open yet. Friendly stray cats ...

Im glad i stumbled upon your video, i was going to skip this location thinking there wasnt much to do and riding 1.5hrs back and forth from tokyo may not be worth it. But i was wrong. There are many things to do. So im adding this back to my itinerary. How long is the stanby time for ferry boat and the hours? I checked their website but it days it can varies.

The best way to get to Enoshima is to reach at Ofuna stationa and take a 15 min hanging monorail ride on the Shonan Monorail and get down at Enoshima
That’s another great way to get to Enoshima! A little bit of a longer walk but beautiful ride as well! :)
Does the monorail go to the island?
