The pressure takes the milk out but you still have to use the steam to froth it. I use a different cup when the milk part comes out so I can froth with the steam then pour it in the coffee
These are sold under the Sunbream brand as sunbeam EM5000 model in Australia. I belive these are also branded sage in the UK. Everything else is identical ,, These machines are not the best machine, but will make decent coffee with a decent grind to start with. Much better than the average to poor quality star bucks tries to pass off as coffee. Temperatature is pretty stable for a single thermal block design and the pressure is adequate to get 9 bars at the basket. If you need more information and you can't find it under a mr coffee search, you can also search under sunbeam EM5000 and sage EM5000. I would agree not to use a dishwasher on any parts of this machine. Even if they survive the dishwasher, the flavour of the coffee will be affected by the chemicals in the dishwasher powder. I would always return unused milk to a separate container to store so you can clean the machine properly, as cleaning is essential for the milk system to not only keep it clean and bacteria free, but also keep it working properly. These systems do block up easily and fail if not maintained properly. Just the nature of what it is.
Hi! You can find the cleaning instruction for this machine on page 8 on this manual www.mrcoffee.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-mr-coffee-Library/default/dw5026d296/documents/instruction-manuals/BVMC-ECMP1000_BVMC-ECMP1001_16ESM1.pdf
This machine only lasted me 18 months and i did not use it daily. Interestingly enough, the warranty is only good for one year. I was definitely disappointed. I know things don't last for every however, more than 18 months is not too much to ask. I would not recommend. Spend your money on another machine. It was great while it lasted.
PreserveBigCats had same problem. Cleaning with vineger will help, running the machine couple times with vinegar instead milk, not the same froth as new but may help.
We were going to starbucks 5 times a week for 2 large white chocolate mocha lattes at $11.70. In just one month this machine has paid for itself.
We are so happy to hear this! Happy brewing.
I love mine, am so glad I switched from a single cup to this.

Piece of garbage... no way is it worth more than $100, cheaply put together, No more froth after 10 uses. Rubbish !
