No screws in the drill, we've all been there :) Ive been a boarder for over 20 years, and we use both Hilti and DeWalt.... I was impressed with the DeWalt seeing as it was less than half the price of a Hilti and it pretty good, but Hilti is king in my opinion. As long as i use my little fingers on the trigger, and push with my palm, it never fails me... they last for years too.... nice video guys, the weather looks great too... hello from UK
Hilti or DeWalt doesn't have the D button like Makita does. Milwaukee nice too but the cone is plastic and it wears out. Makita is king. Doesn't need to change a single thing.
Yes I know now why in the north we use straping that's nuts using little little bits in between dry wall all that extra work is nuts ill use staying any day of the week
The hilti has great power, But the grip on it is waaaaay too thick for my hands. I have glove size 10 so medium sized hands and after a day of using the hilti my right hand always hurts like hell. So for me its gotta be the makita or festool.
yeah its backblocking cement which is very similar. yes it keeps them straight , the joints are a bit more solid. when there are 3 or more joints in 1 room thanks please consider subscribing goo.gl/dDcLgJ
Hilti guy talks a lot about tools but when it came time to do the job he wasn't ready. Luckily he had the screws on him, otherwise they should have just left him holding it.
YES! You definitely CAN reload screws into the strip. Although they might be a little loose or baggy whilst in the slots, I've never had one fall out. I had to load 2 inch screws in these strips when the store didn't have them and I had to hang 2 layers of 5/8 on a steel stud ceiling.
It's stud adhesive as plasterboard needs to be fixed at 200mm centres. The pieces of board are called backblocking which is suppose to help support between joists but they don't. The ceiling sheets sag over time between joists. If I saw guys using that method on my jobs, they'd be packing their bags. Should be blocked out with timber on the butt joint to achieve a more professional result.
Yeah you plus 10 other guys. Nice big commercial work I'd reckon? Everybody has a big fish story when it comes to sheetrock.... But anyone who rocks for a living deserves much respect regardless!
@Gaming with Rambo Yeah, at $25 for a lil bucket of strips, the screws can get expensive if you use it for all the screwing. But seeing as you CANT get screws out or fix clickers with it I only use it to tack the sheets. Where these collated guns TRULY shine, is when hanging rock over RC channel or Hat channel on the lid.
Makita is Japanese. And Japanese ppl are small. That’s why their tools are small 😂 I made that up. But i love Makita for it’s small size since I have small hands
I know, but for that price of them I always go with truckloads of Makita and other tools and they've never failed me either. I used to have a Hilti rotary hammer 2.7 Joules, it was heavier and harder to use and worked worse than my 2 year older Bosch with same specs. And from experience Hilti have not been much into carpentry and their circular saws used to kind of suck. Maybe they are better now, haven't tried those new. So I guess I'm saying to each their own.
30 years? Cordless wasn't out that long so 23 of those years you were dragging around cords; fighting over plug in spots; and probably even banging nails in the drywall. We talking about the new tools. Not your wonder years 😆😂
@@mr.kenslifeshop4034 my question is why auto feed? Been hanging drywall for 12 years. DeWalt is the strongest fastest cordless to this day. I've never used auto feed and cang screw off a 12 ft in under a min. I've become so accustomed to screwing and keeping up with 2 cutters.

Hilti last one week when I use them, hammer drill drilling concrete holes for slab dowels. Tape the trigger, knee pads ear plugs and let her rip.

No, the part which holds the screws breaks as the screw is pushed through.
