When I first started watching mcyt, I started with Keralis, and I've watched Scar, Etho, Impulse, Tango, Mumbo, Grian, and Joel, and I've got to say, Skizz, that you're one of my favorites! Your sense of humor makes me giggle, and your more serious moments are wonderful. The podcast has changed my life, and I hope that someday I can meet you at a con. I'm happy to see how far you've come, and look forward to seeing what you do going forward!
Both computers had similar problems. Maybe it IS an issue with a degraded CPU since it's a prebuild and likely was used a bit to set the system up before you added the BIOS update. But starting to wonder if it's electrical . Try getting a UPS for your system and see if that helps (or as a quick test, bring it to another room that is on a different circuit/see if you can bring it to impulse's guest house for a night and see if it has the same issue), and if it stops the crashing, you might want to get someone to check your outlets and internal wiring. I've had what was seeming phantom issues that felt like it was following with whatever system I got, but turned out the wiring inside the wall had degraded to the point ot fluctuated too much. It made me think I was cursed or something. EDIT: If your router is on the same circuit as your computer, try moving it to a separate one and see if your internet problems persist. Perhaps it is dropping if you do indeed have an electrical problem.
Doing any sort of cornering is MUCH easier with the keyboard because if you press two keys it makes a perfect 45° angle every time vs the sensitivity of the controller
I like that instead of having tango (who just moves plates) do the chopping in the end they split it up between the people who already struggle to keep up-
Skizz and Impulse play Super Bunny Man, can they get further than Tango and Zed. Plus I just want to see Skizz going from pure enjoyment at the start to intense concentration to putting his fist through his screen lol
Hi Skizz, looks like youve had a nightmare today. As youve now got 2 computers that crash have you considered any external factors...? I was thinking maybe dirty mains electrics, might be worth adding a UPS to your set-up if youve not got one! You could always rip the new graphics card out of your new rig and put it into your old one as a stop gap, see if that does anything for you. Good luck with whatever you do!!! 😮
Had another thought... I remember you saying installing the GPU was difficult, are you sure it seated completely?! There is a thing called thermal creep which over time can dislodge a graphics card... If it's not fully seated to stat with it may be 'creeping' out of the slot as it warms up. Probably worth taking it out and refitting it (costs nothing) this can also apply to ram so might be worth popping them out and putting them back in too, make sure you use the same slots when you do, I'm assuming you'll have 2 sticks they can be swapped within the same 2 slots.

Hey Skizz, does the new pc have an AIO for cooling the cpu? I ask because my son computer use to do the same thing your pc is doing and it came down to changing the AIO to a be quiet air cooler. Since then his pc has not crashed.
Does it still crash without streaming and I would check the usbs. Cause my husband had a client whose computer was blue screening but couldn’t be replicated when my husband had it when it went back to clients house it started doing it again and it was troubleshooted to be one of his usb devices causing it

I dreamt i had friends today which is kinda mean cus i always end up getting dropped but its always fun and good distracting to watch the chaos I Just remembered i have an appointment and almost got a bit nervous because mother isnt awake yet- but it turns out that appointment is next week.. other wise we wouldve been Very close (appointment between 11-12.. and i woke up 10 45) Pearl making the same noise as me when she went crane mode gave me a giggle Yk gor a second i had faith and thought he called it 'Little Moe/Roe' because maybe thats some kind of fish.. but no.. he just went for it- Scar really walked out there with the fish, took the order of the blue table and put down the fish while a table that Wants 2 blue fish was right there- Its a little impressive Scar only burned 2 fish- thats better than some skizz has done Oh speakimg of broken bones- my 4yo cousin apparantly ended up with a complexly broken arm yesterday and needed surgery because my uncle threw him across the river- And we almist had 2 cases if surgery becauze once my uncle saw him fall he also jumped over the river and almost messed up his knee again which he got fixed like a month ago- It was an interesting story to hear.. mine craft dosnt need much to run it when you add mods then use obs and stream on twitch so i would do is get good internet there are routers out there that will take home internet and also use phone internet as a backup then i would make the obs and twitch computer one thing and the mine craft computer as another ,,, ie if you separate the system you can find whats wrong easier... you can do this on one system but your would need docker or something like that and know how to look at the logs to see whats happening
