I have this e- bike with the dual battery. I l8ve in the San Francisco Bay area. I have over 500 miles on the odometer. Zero problems with it. I recently traveled 35 miles on a single battery at peddle assist level 2 before I lost power. The battery was not quite dead and I peddled every inch to give assistance, so the battery claim by the manufacturer is acceptable under ideal conditions. I get an average top speed of 27 mph to 28 mph on average at peddle assist level 5. So much fun and every dayvI ride it it is much admired. I think it is my best purchase in many years.
I have the Philodo H8, dual hub motor, its a great bit of kit. I have however replaced the front chainring for higher speeds. I tend to use it in pedal assist 3 when cruising. It does have throttle, but its use will seriously reduce range. You don't need to worry about going off road. Being on road is like off road anyway.
Like a kid at Christmas 🤣 can't beat the fat wheel e-bikes extra support the only thing I found using one is you need mirrors instead of turning your head to look behind when going at speed.The new hells angel ☘

I have a lot of experience with ebikes and this is a 1.2kw total battery capacity. I reckon 35-40 miles realistic range if he used it on full power all the time without pedalling.

Nice video and a bike makes a change even it's not for me. The bike looks uncomfortable and a bit like a sit up and beg, I always preferred lower handlebars when I used to go biking. Curiously, who was holding the camera on the road shots of you from the front? I don't know what camera that was, but it was fine on the foward shots, but shots of you from the front were awfully distorted and headache inducing.

The engine X also isn't legal mate :// it says it's a 250w, which may or may not be true, but then it has a throttle (not legal) and also nearly reaches 30mph, so also not legal, and possibly not 250w 🤣 just a restricted motor ://

In contrast with electric cars, I do see (besides the pure fun factor) the real daily practical convenience for using an electric bike. I ordered the Engwe Engine Pro two weeks ago. Just trying to get the damn thing delivered to my address (still waiting) has, to this date, proven to be a highly frustrating experience.

I saw one bit where you were cycling one handed and I could get a glimpse you were holding summat but it wasn't there. I have built a few 1000w hub conversions and bought a Frey ex which uses the bafang ultra motor ( 160nm torque mid drive ) and like you say I feel like a kid ( with bionic legs ) again when I ride them .😂 If you ever fancy riding the wonders of Wakefield ( yes that is a real name for it 😂😂 ) I'd be happy to show you the way round, there even a few coffee stops on the way.😂😂
Ive had my ADO folding electric bike for about 18 months now and have 2,400 kms on it. It also has 20 inch wheels but not those rediculous 4 inch wide ones...They have HUGE rolling resistance, this is why it needs TWO batteries on it... You're driving a Range Rover of E Bikes...!!!!...an Eco disaster...lol...Glad you're better though m8....🤔😳😏😀🇬🇧

I have had a email to try an e Bike. Quite expensive and not taken up yet, but may do soon. It I do, it will depend on speed and range from home to work. They said will do 35 mph. I used to be semi pro with 2 sponsors, but that was in 80s, not now. and I am 10 years older than you. Bolton to Manchester and back will be my test. I will not be off road, but if route is shorter via off road, I will test that. My test will be really for commute and if worth while compared to other ways. I tested for Shimano in Belgium in early 80s btw on cobbled roads

What is not made clear in anyones videos is the shock you are in for when it comes to custom charges and VAT in the uk,, UPS have just issued a friend with a bill for £687 , so when you add this to the initial price the bike is over 2k
Where did your mate buy it from? Was it shipped from Ireland by any chance? They have them on amazon as well. I would have thought the price you pay on amazon would be all inclusive to your door kinda thing??? Was looking at getting one of these but I'm a bit worried now

Hi Got some gloves. Didn't wear cos I had to control Camera. But always wear them. It's an Insta 360 it erases the stick. Cool Camera. :0)
